Anti Snore Chin Strap, Anti-Dry Mouth Chin Strap for CPAP Users, Stop Noise

This works well for me. It keeps my mouth closed so no more snoring, or dry desert mouth! It’s very stretchy so you can still talk. I don’t get claustrophobic in it. I don’t have a big chin, so I have to fold the chin strap a little bit, so it doesn’t hit my mouth. It does flatten my hair by morning so all the body is out of it. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with the product especially at this price!

Update: I have to take two stars away. It's stretched out so much my mouth is falling open. I've only had it a couple months and it's already useless. NOTICE: don't use this so tightly that it forces you to keep your teeth clenched. You should be able to still own your mouth easily. It's designed to keep your mouth from falling over, not to force your mouth shut. So I have a pretty bad underbite that for some reason seemed to get. Bad out of no where, I've never really been a mouth breather at night, but the past couple weeks it's been bad. Waking up in the middle of the night needing to swish water around my mouth. Wildly uncomfortable. I wasn't even sure things like this existed, but then found a few different styles. I kept wondering which woukd be the best and stay on most likely to stay on in the night and landed on this. I used it for the first time last night. I wish I'd gotten it earlier. First, it's much more comfortable than you'd think. It's not tight, but just snug enough to keep your mouth from falling open in the night. I didn't have any trouble falling asleep with it, and it stayed in place all night. I slept until 10am, (went to sleep around 1am) without waking up once. That's is unheard of for me. I'm so impressed and happy with this purchase and the price is unbeatable. I've never been told I snore, but if you do i imagine this would solve the issue with minimal sleeping adjustments

This chin strap is very comfortable however no matter how tight you make it it will not keep the mouth closed the way it's supposed to.

This product was a waste of my money. It would come off of my chin and end up around my nose a couple nights, since I received it and have been trying to use it. This happened even last night. When I first got it, I actually got one good night with it. Had a really good night sleep, so I was actually excited and hopeful, but it was very short lived. I have already ordered and different product and was thinking this morning that maybe I can salvage some use out of the velco on this thing. I do NOT recommend buying this product. UPDATE: Company contacted me and offed me a complete refund. They are trying to be a good company and trying to make a good product. I ordered the product because others have had success with it, and rated it highly. I believe the reason the product does not work for me is because of the material used. It's too flexible or stretchy, so it does not hold my chin in place and my mouth can still come open during sleep. In my case I need something more ridged, but apparently others can have success with the product as designed. Unfortunately, the product has not worked out well for me. I have continued to try and use it, while I wait for a different product, with limited success. I want to point out that the seller has tried to do right by me, and that is much appreciated, so I added a star, and changed my review title.

This item is well made, comfortable and is sold at a very good price. I only wish that it were made in different sizes, as I could use a slightly larger size. The two parts that go behind the head is fine. The part however that goes about the heat to Velcro at that point is short for me. It nearly catches and creates a bump at the top of my head. When I wear my CPAP mask, it straps over the top of my head and holds the bump down, pressing the bump into my scalp. The fact that I do not have hair to lessen the pressure being applied at that point, makes it uncomfortable over long periods during the night. I find myself taking off my mask and chin strap during the night. I would be happy with this chin strap otherwise. For that reason, I am looking for a similar design and material that would fit differently, by giving me a longer overhead straps than this one does. I am sure that this product will work well for some people.

For several years now, I have used anti-snore chin straps like this one not to control snoring -- I live alone and haven't woken myself up yet! -- but drooling on the pillow. The last few such straps I have tried have failed in this goal -- they just didn't keep my mouth closed firmly but comfortably. I'm sorry to say that this particular strap only succeeds halfway. It has mostly prevented drool spots on my pillow, but I definitely see drool spots on the inside of the strap after a night's sleep, indicating that the strap is just NOT holding my mouth closed as hoped for. I should mention also that it isn't the most comfortable strap either: the strap seems to pull my jaw backwards as much as (or more) than upwards, pushing my lower gums against my teeth, risking creating mouth sores. So I will give this particular strap a thumbs-down and continue looking for a comfortable AND effective drool-stopping strap. CHARACTERISTICS OF A GOOD ANTI-SNORE ANTI-DROOL STRAP: * Holes for ventilation, particularly during summer. * A hole for your chin, to help keep the strap properly aligned. * Two sets of adjustable bands -- one on top of your head, the other behind. * Upward, not backward, pressure on your jaw.

I basically waited a year before using my chin strap for the first time because I didn't like the idea of wearing the crazy thing. However, having used it for a couple of months, I wish I'd started sooner. Like any other appliance including a CPAP mask, you have to find what starting position works for you. It can work its way back onto the throat meaning it didn't do anything or forward up over the chin and onto the mouth. Okay, so I don't like it, but it does the job better than without and I've not found one that I like any better. It does help keep my mouth closed and the cpap stats after the first week of figuring it out prove it. And now I'm very comfortable with 7 hours of sleep instead of 8.5 or 9. So there's that. That said, I don't know how long it will last with cleaning and drying it. It honestly feels pretty flimsy, but that might be due to having a comfortable fabric and being extremely stretchy. One thing that I like for sure is that it has two velcro straps, one for the top of the head and one for the back, meaning that they've done all they can to stop it from sliding around. I'm ordering a second one to allow for more flexibility in washing/drying it and just in case the first one breaks. At this price, buying a second is a no-brainer.

I bought three devices and this was one of them. It didn’t have enough power to keep my jaw closed. Also was hot on the head to wear. Didn’t work for me.

Not perfect but does a pretty good job. I use it with my Nasal CPAP Mask to stop air escaping through my lips and waking my wife. She is happy with the result.

It's so easy to use. Very comfortable too.

It's very light and comfortable. Want two more of the same. Requesting Amazon to make these available.

Unlike others I find the material comfy. The problem is that it is extremely sttetchy. It doesn‘t matter how much I tighten the velcros - I can always open my mouth - sothis thing is rendered useless for me.
