L.M. Montgomery's honest prose superbly captures her time, place, and characters, especially the irresistable Anne, in an enchanting Prince Edward Island setting.

Bantam Books did a superb work with this series edition! The cover design is beautiful, with illustration that, at least I think, goes with the whole saga story. The other detail that I like about this edition is that it keeps the complete text of the original publication.Every book ends with a real map of Prince Edward Island, where the whole Anne series develops, and a little author's biography. As well, the books sizes allow to travel with them in a bag or backpack.

I loved Anne with an E so much that I wanted to read what happened after she finished school and married Gilbert.The books continued to bring life to her future years. It was very enjoyable because all the time you continued to readyou can picture Anne and the rest of the characters from the Netflix series.

There is a quiet loveliness about the Anne of Green Gables series that delights the heart, no matter what age you are. Adventure, laughter, tears, all presented in a family friendly reading, great for reading out loud to kids at school or at home.

I bought this book for my mom. She likes nice stories that don't have icky, nasty stuff in them. She also doesn't like heavy literature. So this series is great for my mom. It's not just for young girls!

Had to have more of the continuing saga of Ann and all her friends. Fun way to spend a hot summer day, reading these enchanting stories from the past.

Product was as advertised but the promotional packing was a little damaged.

Ich habe bereits Volume I, also die ersten 3 Bücher gekauft, damals glaube ich für etwa 5€, aber auch der Preis für Volume II ist unschlagbar. Die Coverillustrationen sind sehr hübsch und besonders die zusätzlichen Informationen über Autorin Lucy Maud Montgomery sind ganz Interessant. Toll finde ich auch die beigefügte Karte von Prince Edward Island.Ich bin also vollkommen zufrieden.

Los libros son de tamaño práctico, fácil de llevar y tienen una linda presentación. El final de la historia de Anne, un nuevo capítulo de su vida después de haber pasado su infancia en Avonlea.
