perfect size for vanity top
The lid fits perfectly, it holds a few small items and is a good size for a vanity top. It is too big to hold random jewelry, since it would hold quite a bit and you would be tempted to toss the day's jewelry in it. Soon you would have a disorganized mess. Instead, it is good for cosmetic cottons, hair pins and such like.

Very nice trinket box. Good size and nice glass. My only complaint would be regarding the color. You can hardly see that this is supposed to be purple. It is so faint that it looks like clear glass.
