Brilliance Glass Food Storage set of 4 containers 8 total pieces (4 containers + 4 lids) for Lunch Meal Prep and Leftovers Dishwasher and Oven Safe Clear/Grey

I wanted to get away from the plastic containers and go with glass. The trade-off is glass containers will be heavier. But we’re good with that. Pros: * Seals tight. I filled them all up with water and turn them upside down and none of them leaked. * Durable. While we wash the glass in the dishwasher, we still choose to wash the tops by hand even though they say they are dishwasher safe. Unlike some brands, these tops appear very durable. Looks like this set will last for many years. * Interchangeable tops. Several of the sizes use the same tops. * Stackable. This style stacks better than any that we’ve had before. I really like the rectangle sizes. They Stack in the cabinets or refrigerator more efficiently than our old round ones. They also fit perfectly in our lunch box for work. * Sizes. Everyone’s needs are different but these particular sizes meet our needs perfectly. No itty-bitty containers. Perfect sizes for leftovers and lunches. Cons: * Price. I did not go looking for other options to see if this set was significantly cheaper elsewhere. But they do appear a bit pricey. * My issue was trying to find the sizes of the containers that are included in this nine piece set (9 containers with 9 tops). So below is what we received: 1 (8 cup) @ 11-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 2-3/4” tall 1 (4.7 cup) @ 8” x 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” tall 2 (3.2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2-1/2” tall 2 (2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2” tall 3 (1.3 cups) @ 5-3/4” x 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” tall After using this set for a few more months, we will see what sizes we use most and supplement it with more of the same brand of containers. We like doing our food prep over the weekends and this style is perfect for our needs. They do keep our food fresher for a longer period of time due to the tight seal. Plus we like not having our food in plastic due to all the health concerns (especially when we warm up our food in the microwave). Hope this helps you.

I started with the large assortment and quickly found that the piece I used most, the 4.7 size cup for lunch salads, was the one I used most. Only one was supplied so I added 3 more. I got addicted to the glass pretty quickly and realized I needed more so I bought the set with 3.2 size. Now I’m contemplating getting rid of all my old plastic containers, going glass only and buying the full set again. What I particularly like: The ability to add on. Stackable Air tight covers Thick glass Versatile sizes that stack well in the frig. What I’m not as happy about: I think the price is a bit high, but obviously I’ve been willing to pay it. Think they should have added one more 4.7 size container in the original. Although the air tight cover is great they can be a bear to remove. Like other reviewers I generally like to wash the covers by hand unless very dirty. They seem durable but covers are often the first to go. I haven’t noticed any food getting trapped in the covers causing discoloration. They’re well made. You can see how well they stack in my frig. FYI!!!!! Do not order this used!! I decided I wanted another set and thought I’d try a used one. It came incomplete, so poorly packaged that pieces were chipped. You could hear them rattling around in the box. It also said, Amazon inspected on the outside. What a joke.

Be very careful with Rubbermaid if you are seeking to buy glass, they have these in plastic as well and I had to cancel them because I wanted the one that were glass. Great product, the lids are great, you hear the air go in and out depending one putting on the lids or taking them off. Seals work, they do not leak. The sizes are ok, wish they had more of these in different sizes but Rubbermaid does not have any more round storage containers and that is a shame, I love the fact they are great value for the money because the reality is they will last for years to come. Durable and safe, have not chipped or cracked from refrigerator, dishwasher or freezer so far. They do work for stacking and are dishwasher safe. I put them on the top shelf of my dishwasher and the big one on the bottom. I fully recommend using them and buying them. I don't label but you can label them because the glass is thick and study, I wouldn't recommend labeling the lids because they are not glass and I do not know what the plastic is they are using on it but I don't believe it would be easy to remove.

Our older Rubbermaid glass food storage containers seem to no longer be available, I assume a discontinued product. I wanted a few more of the large glass containers, since I only had 2. I found these and thought they were the perfect size. My husband loves using these and they store better than the other older set we have. Plus he likes the lids for these too. Quality seems great! I haven’t tested if the seal is leak-proof, but the lid closure clamps work well. I may eventually get the other set with the various sizes they have available to replace the older glass containers we have so everything can fit more easily in our cabinet.

Only had these for 6 weeks now, but I really like them. I bought JoyJolt 24pc set for 1/2 the price here on AMZ & a Snapware set at Costco. Those sets are okay but these seem superior in quality for a few reasons. ATK advises to look for a THICK gasket/seal. Compared to the other 2 sets these seals are nice & thick. They only have 2 latches, which makes it less of a hassle, yet the seal seems much better on these. They also have holders/lips on the sides which makes it easier to hold, especially if the glass is hot. My other 2 sets don't have holders. One thing I've noticed about these glass containers is they really do help with your lettuce, fruit, etc. last longer. Those are the pros. As far as the cons: These are expensive and I wish you would get more containers for the money, but I guess you get what you pay for.

love this glass storage! These containers seal like a vault! No food odors escape into your fridge. I switched to all glass for food storage, no more plastic. The lids are plastic, though. That may be my only caveat. If you push down too hard to seal the lid, they can crack right in the center. But it seems all lids for all brands and styles can have some sort of crack issue, so it's a trade off. I love the glass, its durable, can be used in the microwave and washed in the dishwasher, no special care required. No issues with staining or odor retention. I've had garlic/italian foods stored as well as mexican foods and no staining nor odors. ZERO issues with leaks. love them. Best in class right now for glass food storage.

Good quality and very easy to close. I haven't used them in the oven, but they are great for storage and reheating in the microwave. Covers fit snugly and the glass is thick and durable.

We have purchased both the glass version of this product as well as the plastic version. Buy the glass version. The plastic version does not hold up. We've thrown away several of the plastic versions and replaced with the glass. The plastic version is a lot lighter and easier to handle, but it doesn't last. We put the bottoms in the dishwasher and handwash the tops to ensure the rubber gaskets hold up.

We are pretty fussy and these containers are great quality. They seal well and yes the lids are a bit tight to start off with but hey better than leaking yeah. We bought a large kit with 2 large containers,medium, small and the smaller size that are good for nuts or say protein powder to take with you to work. I use the size pictured for 70gm of home made oat mix with yogurt & blueberries, works perfect. These containers wash up well and are very durable.

Product was def well designed with user experience in mind. Easy to remove lid, great quality glass, versatile for microwave, oven cooking, and easy to clean. The rubber lining on lid can be removed for cleaning :) The company was also very efficient with shipment and constantly updated me on its status via WhatsApp as well.
