The quality of this mat is GREAT!! PRO TIP: It is challenging to unrole and wants to curl back up once in place. While rolled out, place weights on the corners to keep it down, then place a sheet on top of the mat and iron over the sheet. The heat will cause the plastic to be a little more pliable and remain in place. Once you've applied the heat, you can remove the weights from the corners (be sure to iron over the corners too).

Purchased this to put under my treadmill that I have in my carpeted bedroom. Works great. A note of caution, it's best to roll it out with two people bc it's rolled tightly and it's VERY stiff. The grip spikes on the underside really hurt too lol. Gloves would have been a good idea but that's 20/20 hindsight talking. Had to lay it out with weights on the corners overnight to keep it flat. Overall happy with the quality and it's doing the job well.

Probably fine for hardwood or vinyl floors, but didn't work well on my low pile carpet. I heated up the roll outside since it was nearly 100 degrees yesterday and flattened it out easily. But once it was flattened and cooled, the rolling chair created big dents that didn't flatten back out when the chair was moved. Will be returning. For those who wonder how to get it back in the box, just heat it back up again and it rolls easily. Nice quality, and should work well for flat floors.

The mat stays in place and has a smooth surface to roll my chair across without damaging or scratching my tile floor. . It lays flat and has maintained its shape even, do not know why I waited so long to order it

I purchased this to protect the composite floor in my office, but the floor has suffered damage any way. The plastic that this mat is made of is very soft, and might offer protection against scratches, but it does not prevent the floor from being damaged by the wheels of the chair. The individual panels of the flooring have become disfigured over time and will need to be replaced. In addition to absence of floor protection, this mat will not stay in place. It slides around the floor and curls up where it has been pushed up against the desk. This causes all sorts of problems including creating a trip hazard and trapping cables between the mat and the desk. I would not recommend this mat for use on a hard floor. I have no idea how it will work for carpet. Maybe it was mislabeled and was never designed to be used on hard floors.

Some reviewers complained that this mat was difficult to unroll. I found it extremely easy to do so. (I’m 78 with 2 bad knees). I put my chair & some books on it for about 2 hours, and it’s been perfectly flat since. It’s a little thin, but it does the job. And it’s easy to pick up and move. I recommend it.

I was looking for a carpet that would fit the deco, be waterproof because my young fur baby sometimes doesn't make it time out the door and something that would be easy and fast to clean all while fitting with the deco. Well this is it! Stumbled upon this I don't know how but so happy, it checks all the boxes. Useful not only for a desk chair!
