Awesome book for kids! I bought this book after listening to the author talk about it on the radio. Love the lesson it teaches and love how it’s illustrated. Frida was one of a kind 💙

Any Brad Meltzer books are amazing, and for my 5 year old Frida obsessed daughter she loves it

My 7year old daughter LOVES these books!! We have bought many from the collection...and buy them as gifts too! Easy to read, colorful pictures, informative (but age appropriate) AND inspiring! I have even learned some things ;) lots of great lessons taken from each book...hope they keep adding...especially the women of history <3

My class looks forward to Mr. Meltzer’s next Ordinary People book and enjoyed learning about this artist. I like that they learn about important historical events in an easy to read and enjoyable manner. Although these books seem to be marketed for primary grades, most children under third grade would probably need to be read to.

Since their schools don’t teach diversity, I need to do it myself. My grandkids love reading this book over and over. While improving their vocabulary and reading skills.

An amazing series of books that my 11 year old boys love to read. It is a fun way to learn about history and that anyone with passion can make a difference.

Love the author Brad Meltzer and all his “I am” books. Great way to promote reading, learning about history and social Justice. I would definitely recommend!

Another great book in a series of excellent books. By now we have almost all the books in this series. Although our 11-year old daughter collects these well-presented, colourful books, they are adored by the whole family. The topic of this book Frida Kahlo was of particular interest to our daughter since she loves to read about historic female characters.Similar to all the books in the series, the story depicts a few of the character’s defining traits in a fun an educational manner, so that readers of all ages will take something from it. The hard cover book is very well illustrated in a cartoon style.The wide range of topics of these books deserves special mention as well. We can’t wait until the next one come out.

A very beautiful book. Her life is illustrated beautifully and the way book is written will give encouragement to not only children but grown-ups as well.Fantastic work Christopher and Brad!
