The Good Stuff โค๏ธ
This is proper Matcha. It can be hard to find good quality Matcha, especially on Amazon. I would highly recommend this to any tea lover. It goes well in ceremonial settings, or if you want to whip up a nice latte. Blendability is solid with no clumping. It is a smooth and tasty journey from your first sip, to your last. Great value for the money. Iโll be back ๐.

Expensive, but unfortunately worth itโฆ
I try to stick to the spirit of matcha. Itโs supposed to be a cheap tea, the cheapest you can find- and itโs supposed to be brewed with the closest care and consideration one is able to muster. Okakura kakuzo (the author of โThe Book of Tea), definitely lived in a different time. A time when even the lowest cost manufacturers cared about the quality of their product. Cheap does not mean lacking in quality- and my terrible experiences with most other matchaโs on the market, lead me here. Much to the chagrin of my wallet, I purchased Matcha Moon based on accolades from โSamurai Matchaโ on YouTube (a non-sponsored recommendation, from a beloved content creator) I have to say. I am thoroughly impressed. No bitterness AT ALL. Even when brewed a little too hot, or with a high powder/water ratio. This product is grassy, bright, and light. Not the โrichestโ of matchaโs, but certainly the most WELL BALANCED. Iโm just gonna have to take the punch to my coin purse and call this a necessity. The larger quantity is a much better value than the 1oz one. Iโll try to stretch it.

Delicious and buttery smooth
I just recently fell in love with green tea lattes. I had my first one at Starbucks a month ago. I loved it more than coffee! I don't like sugar in my drinks, though. The latte I had was a little sweet. I also am used to drinking good Japanese senchas. So I decided to start making my own. I did a little research and purchased this product for several reasons: * I understood it was not bitter. * I wanted a high quality product to start with, so I would know what some of the best matchas taste like first. I probably won't be able to buy this expensive matcha for daily use, but I after having it I can shop for other matchas that I like for that purpose. * I wanted a Japanese tea. For many years, I haven't had a Chinese tea that I like. They all have a bitter tang on my tongue. * I wanted tea that was grown far from Fukushima. I made my first matcha at home from this tea. It was a little clumpy (I didn't do a good enough job of mixing and don't have a whisk yet) but the tea came out just fine. It was very delicious and smooth tasting. I got to the end and realized, I don't even want milk with this tea. I just want to drink this tea plain with water. It's that good. There was absolutely no bitterness. It was just a gentle flavor. So very lovely. I really am very pleased with this little tin of tea, yet was really surprised by the small amount of tea that you get. When you empty the tea (it is packaged in plastic) into the tin, it comes to about 3/4 full. It's a very very small amount for the price. This particular matcha will be saved for a treat. I have to say I feel quite nice after this wonderful tea.

Amazing flavor, packaging could be better
The matcha itself is amazing, great flavor with very little bitterness. I appreciate that the packaging was intended to keep the matcha as fresh as possible, but the aluminum bag that came within the tin can made me lose significant amount of matcha in the transfer. There's so much matcha stuck to the sides of the bag that even though I tried my best to scrape it and save it I feel like I lost at least 2-3grams worth which is significant given the price of the matcha. If the matcha wasn't so powdery and stuck to the bag this wouldn't be an issue, but it's fineness just doesn't allow it to transfer nicely from the aluminum bag to the aluminum can.

Great matcha
This is by far the best matcha I have used. My husband first bought it for me as a gift and now I canโt go back to a different brand. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality matcha.

Delicious Matcha
Delicious Matcha for a late drink or by itself. I like it creates consistent micro foam when you whisk it.

Not my favorite for lattes
Iโm a daily matcha drinker and prefer a matcha that can stand up to almond milk. In other words, I want to taste the earthy, nutty matcha not just milk. I always use the same ratio of 1.5 teaspoons of matcha to 1.5 cups of milk. Unfortunately, this matcha got lost. I was able to get it on a discount so I bought two. If you drink it without mixing in a latte, you might enjoy. For me, I prefer a more complex, umami profile. The hunt continues.

It's like after I had "real" organic Kona coffee from a ...
I got the ceremonial grade, because I know even with Japanese green tea, I can only drink organic sencha (for the taste) and I find it impossible to go back to regular grade. It's like after I had "real" organic Kona coffee from a farmer into soil fertility (not commercially sold), I just could not drink "regular organic" coffee anymore - it was like at another level. Right now, after drinking the Matcha Green Tea, it's getting hard to enjoy the regular daily organic sencha (green tea) - it doesn't make you feel shakey, but more clear, and I now mainly I am worried that it would hard to stop drinking this on a daily basis - and it does cost a lot for the small size, but at the same time, it is a lot of flavor and taste for a small scoop. I have the battery operated whisk (used to use for wheatgrass) - but also got the bamboo whisk + scoop which is enjoyable - you would need or the other to create the froth / smooth effect.
