Very accurate

Hello, I have a Stew Mac card to read string height at the 12th fret. Reading from the top is easier.

I am thinking that these taper scales are very overpriced ... this one was less expensive than others. I need one in the work I do ... this gauge should be quicker and easier to get my measurements than using standard feeler gauges. I found that the contrast between the gauge lines, the gauge numbers and the base metal wasn't quite enough for my old eyes. I will need to wear my magnifiers: Not a fault of the tool, I suppose. I have not used the gauge yet, but I have no concerns about its accuracy. It had room for improvement, and I wish I could have rated it higher.

packed really well in manfactures wrapping and amazon wrapping. but, the thin end was rolled over. that's too bad. otherwise very nice and accurate

Good product

This is a very handle measuring tool. Not traditional, but really good. If you can imagine how to use it, you will appreciate it. Luthiers may really like. Made well, very accurate.
