Another Great Knife From Mercer
I was turned on to Mercer knives years ago from a teacher who taught cooking classes. I asked what was a good knife that wouldn't break the bank and she said, for all her new students she refers them to the Mercer knives. I bought my first one for around $22 and it's been going for years now and holds a great edge. I have much more expensive knives now and the Mercer still gets used just as much. This one is no different. Super sharp right out of the packaging and a great feel.If you are looking for a great low cost chef knives, i highly recommend the Mercer line. You wont be disappointed

Great Value
I won't claim to be a knife expert.... but for the price of the knife it performs perfectly when cutting meat, trimming roasts, brisket, etc. So far it's maintained it's edge, although not using it daily. Just as sharp out of the box as a knife 5X+ the cost. Would buy again simply because it's a great value - heck, buy 5 of them and I'll have a sharp, useful knife for years to come.Only con I have: does not come with a case/sheath.

Great knife.
Very light, very sharp, great for cutting big fruits too.
User
Great grip on a sharp knife
Phew, this thing is SHARP. We're talking hot knife through butter when cutting around the bone in a Boston butt. Good rubbery grip. For the price, I don't know if you could get a better slicing knife like it. (I paid 15$. Some colors are cheaper than others)

Good Knife
A very sharp and useful paring knife. The handle is big and feels safe to hold. I clean it by hand and do not put it in the dishwasher. I use it for deboning meats. I am happy I got it.
User
Sharp out of the box
Solid sharp knife, I'm sure I'll get a fair amount of use from it before I have to replace, but I'll be buying this one again

The knife arrived quick. It does not appear to hold the edge long. Handle is too big and the angle of the blade does not feel right.
