Ladies, there is hope!
I will write more later, but this morning, I confirmed that YES this is working. It's totally working. I have new growth all over the "test" area (I was afraid of the dread shed) where I was using it. It's been about 6 weeks. The growth is healthy--these are thick, normal hairs. I tried a bunch of natural stuff before this. I was freaking out, thinking there were wigs in my future. My hair is still falling out a lot, but to see regrowth is such an incredible relief. I just want to put this out there to everyone who is struggling with hair loss, for whatever reason--i don't care what the studies say--this is abundant regrowth. And it's definitely from the romaine. Not crazy about putting chemicals on my head every day, but the stress and worry about my hair was almost definitely more toxic than whatever is in this. No side effects that I've noticed. I never write reviews for anything. This might be my first review ever. I know the struggle. There is hope. Give it a try. Then come back and post your story so other women can keep the flame of hope alive :) It was the reviews that convinced me to try this in the first place--I must have read all of them. And remember, even if this doesn't work for you (which I certainly hope it does), you are so much more than your hair. That's the lesson I've taken from this whole experience.

Happy to recommend
My new hair best practices! Rogaine has been my new, best product commitment this year. Even though my hair is lengthy, I’ve lost a lot of hair from work stress (corporate 😫), hair ties and hardcore dieting over many years. I already have such a big forehead, so the loss was distinguishable in my hairline. Per suggestion of my doctor, I tried biotin, but to no avail. It resulted in increased sebum production and cystic acne. I followed suit with the second suggestion, OTC Rogaine, which was deemed safe for me and was pretty cheap. Before I start, ***I am not a medical professional, so you must be aware that primary ingredient is minoxidil, which is a vasodilator. Get it cleared by your doc, first!*** Although my hair isn’t fully restored yet, plenty of baby hairs are making their return in the concentrated areas and subsequently, my confidence. For me, it took eight months to see about an inch of growth and I ONLY apply it to the troubled areas. Yes, I’m aware I now have to apply it daily, but I work it in my routine every morning and night— just like brushing my hair, brushing my teeth, skin creams etc. For disclosure, I had about two scary months of shedding, which I later discovered was part of the follicle stimulation process. As minoxidil speeds up the resting phase of your hair, sometimes it falls out more quickly than it normally would. So, if you dive into it, this will happen, but stay true and hang in there. Additionally, I made a proper effort to improving my hair care routine: 1. Rogaine morning and night (about two small drops) 2. Switching to scrunchies, no more regular hair ties 3. No more vigorous towel drying, just air drying it when possible 5. Waiting for hair to be completely dry before combing it I’m pretty passionate about this product, hence the effort to write this review. I hope this aids anyone else facing similar challenges, because everyone deserves to feel confident. Again, get it cleared by your doctor beforehand! I am not a paid spokesperson

More than I expected
This works! Hair was thinning above forehead. Frightening. I was told to be patient because Rogaine can take 6+ weeks to start working. Well, it started working within 2 weeks. Maybe I was just lucky. I know there is a newish foam out but I decided to get the liquid. It comes with a dropper that has a line on it to tell you just how much to use. Twice a day. I don't dawdle. Pull the dropper through my hair in straight lines as if I took the time to part each section. It's been great. Know that if you stop using it, the hair will go back to thinning.

It works!!!
I went to see a dermatologist because I was having fallout. It didn’t matter how gentle I was when shampooing or brushing. She recommended the 5%, 2 x’s a day until I notice it working and then back down to 1x a day. ...However, after reading some of the side effects, itchy scalp, scratching, scabs etc, I decided to only use the 2% and only 1x at night. After finishing the second bottle, my fallout had subsided! Every once in a while I’ll feel a bit of itching, then I’ll skip a night and that seems to help greatly. When I apply it, I’m sure to lay my fingers across the top of my hairline to catch any drips that may accidentally drip down into my eyes. I look up when massaging the liquid into the scalp, focusing on my temples. Then take a wide tooth comb and comb throughout. The results are excellent. I have hair growing back, very few hairs fallout now. Previously, I tried other plant based serums without any results at all. Be patient, this works!

It works but beware
I have used this product off and on for over 10 years to treat my spots of alopecia I get here and there due to stress. Rogaine has always worked for me. However, I’m not sure if they changed how they make this product or if over time I have just become allergic to this product because I had a terrible allergic reaction within 2 days of using the product. At first my scalp became inflamed , and then it started oozing puss. The worst was by day 3-4 one side of my face was completely swollen. I went to see my dermatologist who took care of my allergic reaction and she said maybe the delivery of the liquid form is too strong for me and perhaps the foam version would be okay. However, I decided to use their prescription which is not as strong of a dose of steroids and not rogaine .

Godsent product
As far as the shipper and time of shipment i am in afghanistan and recieved this product fairly quickly i think a week or so and it was packaged nicely, the box wasn't half open or anything so that's always a good thing. As far as the actual product itslef this stuff is godsent literally. I used this a few years back on the same area i am using it on now (my temples, to grow my edges back) and it took a littleless than a month for me to see the hairs growing in and after 2 months of use they were thick and getting longer. I am now using this as directed twice a day everyday in conjunction with the nature'sbounty hair skin and nail pills that i ave been using for a little over a month and already my edges are nice and full and getting more and more length to them. I will use this product for 3 months so i will have to place another order soon for 2 more bottles, but if you are looking to grow hair back i highly suggest this product. And if you want even better results try the hair skin and nail pills also

Causes immediate hair loss! Read the product description
It says this right there on the Amazon product page: "What to expect: -- When you first begin to use a Rogaine hair loss treatment, your hair loss may continue for up to 2 weeks. This is normal and only temporary, as thinner hairs are shed so thicker hairs can grow in their place. --It takes time to regrow hair. You may need to use this product 2 times per day for at least 4 months before you see results." What's worse, according to a government clinical trial report: "the efficacy in the overall population remains relatively low i.e., 30-40% re-grow hair." Oh how I wish I had read that before I started using this product. I had significant hair loss for the entire first month that I used the product. Like, clogging the shower drain hair loss. I shrugged it off initially because I thought that normal hair loss was just sticking to the gunk on my scalp and only sliding off when I shampooed; I was wrong. This stuff is really messy, especially if you have longer hair (chin length or longer). It will get all over your pillow case, too, which is just not a good thing. After faithfully dabbing on the product twice a day for about 6 weeks, I gave up. My hair loss was continuing, it's going to take forever to see any result, and the chance of ever getting any hair regrowth is less than 50-50.
