Would you wash them? My 6 mth old loves the giraffe and loves to suck on it. Would you put it in the washing machine?

Yes, we also use the giraffe more and I have been washing it and is good. Never used drier.

Do these come in branded box with full details of materials used and washing instructions? I want to give as a gift.

It arrived in like a clear plastic packet. I think washing instructions ere on a display card in it. Not very attractive packaging at all. I was embarrassed to give it as a gift to be honest.

How many items in the set (illustrates 5, describes 4)

Sorry, I can't remember. I returned the item as it was incredibly poor quality. Looked like it had been made by a five year old child. Save your money and time and look for another product.
