I really wanted to like these because they are gorgeous, but I’ve only used them 3 times and they all have these strange marks- almost like oil. I even hand washed them, and re washed to see if it was oils from our hands by chance and they look embarrassingly dirty? So sad.

Don't like to write bad reviewsBut not sure if it's the coating on these or what has caused a reaction of burning and peeling on the inside of our mouths on several of my family and myself where ever the metal touched like the sides and our lips..Just thought it was me because I have a sensitivity to metals..But several of my family and friends complained of the same thing..Really liked them..But this is a major issue..And yes we washed them several times by hand washing and the dishwasher with the same result..

Got 2 sets of these for my daughter-in-law who wanted black flatware to go with her farmhouse theme. I had read so many reviews of other flatware that flaked off when put in dishwasher, etc. That has not happened with these. I also found black serving pieces to add and that match well in Targets House and Home line. These were a great quality and price.

I love every thing about the set other than the finish. After a couple months the black finish is blotchy and the butter knives rust at the serrations after the dish washer.

I was so excited to get this silverware. There were NO cleaning/handling instructions except, Do Not use a brillo pad. Easy enough, right? WRONG! After a couple washes in the dishwasher, the black is coming off, it is turning colors, and the black coating wipes off with a paper towel! Now I'm wondering WHAT we're ingesting when using this product. Not a good buy, would Not recommend.

It’s awful. The metal was sharp and the Matt blackDoesn’t do well. It shows water marks and tarnishes very strange always looking dirty

I never write reviews however I’m really disappointed with this product.The silverware after cleaning leaves a brownish residue which has to be re-rinsed. Furthermore, the forks are super sharp and actually cut my husbands lip when he was eating. Now I have to purchase new silverware 😔. I don’t recommend based off of inability to clean and not usable.

They’re pretty for esthetic reasons but for functionality they’re just okay.We’ve only had them a few months and they’re already chipping and losing their matte coat.I guess you get what you pay for.
