Disappointed in quality
For the money I would hope that the product could withstand mixing easy bake oven mixes but it couldn't. It is very delicate and will stop working if you out anything in the bowl. The battery life is good but I wouldn't purchase it again or recommend it to anyone

huge hit
The kids love the mixer and can't wait to whip up something. It appears to be sturdy enough to mix several things. Also, it is a good price if you consider how much the attachments would cost if purchased separately.

cool
this product is cute but after 4 uses it broke it wouldnt shut off i had to take the batteries out of it so now my 3 year old daughter stirs it by hand it. It came with a crank for the top to turn it by hand so its still around and she loves it :)

Fabulous mixer
Purchased this for my grandson. He has spent hours cooking alongside his mom. Because it actually runs he had actually made dog cookies for his dog. Great product.

loved it
my granddaughter loves it; she makes "waffles" all the time now; love the hand crank feature and the whirring sounds

It's cute
It's not as heavy duty as I thought it would be....seems to kinda strain while mixing the good pancake mix.But it's a cute little item and works fine with really soft foods (eggs, water, semi-melted ice cream...etc.)Great for making jello! I am worried about the pivot point. There's no release for it....it just pops. So depending on how often this mixer is used, is how long that pivot will last (In my opinion).

Perfect for kids, can be used to make real food with a bit of common sense
My toddler and I make homemade easy bake oven treats and muffins with this mixer every once in a while. It works best if the liquid ingredients go in first and then the powdered ingredients. It is obvious when batter is too thick for the motor and you will need to hand crank instead. If your child is older you can easily show them when to use the hand crank and when the motor is fine. Basically if it is thicker than your standard white cake batter, it's too thick for the motor. The hand crank works well and my toddler finds it just as fun as letting the motor run. You can have chunky things in the mixer within reason, mini chocolate chips and diced nuts would be fine in it, a pecan half would not. I let my son "cook" with dried beans and dried chickpeas in the mixer and it works no problem. It's as sturdy as you would expect it to be, the bowl and other parts are sturdy enough but clearly need to be hand washed only. They will melt in the dishwasher and the bowl will crack in the dishwasher too, even on the top rack. This realistic toy will last you for years if taken care of properly, it would not survive being thrown around a lot but could survive a tumble to the floor from a play kitchen, coffee table, or couch. If your child is going to be rough with it, or likely to come in contact with and rough siblings, get a wooden one even if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as this one or even a small real mixing bowl and mini wisk. I let my toddler, who is gentle with his toys, play with it un supervised with the batteries taken out. When I am not there to make sure he isn't going to stick his fingers in while it is running (not strong enough to hurt him but would break the motor) or try to hand crank while the motor is running so his toy can last. When I am in the room and not too busy to run in I put the batteries in and let him get beans and chickpeas from the pantry to "cook" with. All in all, I would buy this again and I plan on buying the matching keurig type coffee maker from the same brand as well. While his will likely last through my child's interest and likely again for the one on the way if precautions are taken, it will not likely last beyond that. I do think it's worth the money if your honest with yourself about whether or not you know you child can and will take care of it. Don't bother if your child is the type to throw thing when they are angry or get overly into things and will try to hand crank as hard and as fast as they can aggressively in general.
