Love it! Has everything a beginner needs! The side where the needles goes does become hard to zip if you put all of them in there though.

My regular knitting supplies (hand-me-downs from family members who were spectacular Knitters/crocheters) have been in storagen for longer than I'd like to admit, and I began pining for a project. I was apprehensive buying this; the price felt too good to be true. On a whim I bought it anyways and am elated I did! Most of the items are indeed cheaply made and kind of flimsy, but paying <$20 this makes sense. The case itself is adorable. Having all the knitting paraphernalia is soooo handy! My makeshift place markers and cable needles were ridiculous but did the job, having the real thing is a low-key life changing. Only major con: the knitting needles are getting a bit warped and developing a curve - hence 4 not 5 stars. Nearly all my projects are small (hats, scarves, eyeglass cases, etc) so the misshapen needles do not negatively effect my work. If you're buying this for larger projects or planning to use heavy yarns/wool BE FOREWARNED these needles may not cut the mustard for you. For beginners, returners (such as myself), and/or casual Knitters - this is a profoundly perfect purchase!

If I could give this product higher than 5 stars I would. I ordered this knitting kit for my granddaughter (whose cat ate her one and only pair of knitting needles). I wrapped it and when she ripped the gift wrap off she thought it was the the cutest design ever on the cover. She was just so happy with all the different sizes of needles and the knitting tools that were included. Now she can keep her knitting tools together, organized and safe from Cheddar The Cat!

I am new to the knitting game these bamboo needlers are great! They don't slide like the metal ones, which make it easier to cast on and off, and ensure your row(s) hold. The pouch is strong and holds everything. The color is great (I got the purple one) and fits in my small tote I use with a few skeins of yarn. Note: The top knobs are prone to come loose, so have some wood glue or crazy glue handy just in case.

I needed to repurchase all my needles again after moving to another country temporarily for work and have always liked bamboo needles. They have a nice grip and your stitches don't slip off as easily like metal needles, plus they're a lot quieter. I really liked the middle section, it has a lot of really useful tools, but I do wish the gauge ruler had a stitch and row counter like the Bates one I have at home but it's sufficient for what I needed. I really like the case, it's very useful and keeps everything together easily. Now let's talk about the needles. You can definitely tell they're not bamboo, they feel and smell like some kind of composite material, and some of them came warped and have an exaggerated curve. I tried steaming them and it didn't do much which brings me to the globs of glue that were left behind after gluing the end caps on. During the steaming process I was afraid that I would melt the glue. All in all, the needles are not very high quality but they felt sturdy and that's all that really counts. I like how the sizes are printed on side of the needles so you don't have to guess everytime. I think these would great for beginners, they are very lightweight, and the case makes this kit easy to use but you'll likely want to invest is a higher quality set of needles in the future as I can see these wearing out pretty quickly.

I am learning to knit and this is perfect. Great price for what you get. All different knitting needle sizes. It fits so much in it which is surprisingly. Lovely vintage style print outer. Would recommend 100% for someone starting out.
