No cushion but chair is good.
I like to chair but where is the cushion the chair is comfortable. I bought a cushion with this chair. I'd like to know where is the cushion thank you.

might as well call it a portable recliner
while most folks likely get these for outdoor use that wasn't the case for myself. i needed a more comfortable chair after back surgery but it needed to be upstairs. i had no means to get a full sized recliner upstairs so thought this might work out as a compromise of sorts.the chair arrived fully assembled which was nice. it is fairly comfortable as is with the exception of the rock hard headrest 'cushion.' for short periods of time it was just fine as is but for longer stints there were a couple pressure points that would make it no so comfortable. to address that shortcoming i purchased a piece of memory foam and layed it flat on the chair. stretching from the bottom footrest area to the very top. ironically doing that made it more comfortable than the traditional recliner we have downstairs. enough so a few times i've actually fallen asleep in it. but equally important upon waking i did not hurt anywhere as is the case with our regular recliner.the chair adjusts easily as designed. once you have it positioned where you want it, just flip up the bars located at the ends of each arm rest and you are locked into place. to get out of the chair you must release those bars first so it moves freely. if not you could risk damaging the chair.the overall quality is quite good no complaints at all other than the included rock hard head rest, which i never use. that said it isn't something i miss at all. if you need to support your head a bit higher just grab any old pillow and you are good to go.this is a fantastic chair that works great. as i mentioned earlier for myself it is more comfortable than the heavily padded leather recliner we have downstairs. that for me was the biggest surprise. when they state these chairs are comfortable they are not just blowing smoke these chairs really are that good.if this one ever breaks i won't hesitate to pick up another to replace it. i could not be happier with this purchase.

Somewhat uncomfortable, but excellent customer service
EDIT:I'm very happy with the customer service that was provided after I left my review. The company reached out and offered to send me another chair for free since they said the movement difficulty was an error in production and most of their chairs work great. Since the issue with the arms is a tougher fix and my main issue, they gave me a full refund via Amazon gift cards plus an extra $10 for the disappointment. Going forward, I hope the company finds ways to make the arms of their chairs more comfortable for people with wider hips and legs, but overall I can't complain with such wonderful customer service.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I'm pretty disappointed in this chair for two reasons. The first is that the way the arms go in at the end make the chair pretty uncomfortable to sit in and even a little uncomfortable to sit in if you have really wide hips and legs like I do. I bought it specifically because it's a big and tall chair and I wanted to avoid that uncomfortable arm situation that so many chairs are equipped with. The second thing I'm a little disappointed about is the fact that the chair is very difficult to get to move into different positions (and yes I undid the locks). I personally wasn't planning on using the lounging back feature very much anyway, but that is an essential part of what this chair is supposed to do, so I feel like it's false advertisement. Also, the pad on the chair doesn't stay in place. The ties just slip down after you tie them no matter how tight you tie them.Overall, I would not reccomend this product. I would reccomend going to a furniture store and trying out different chairs in person so you know what you're buying ahead of time. Lesson learned.

Sturdy/Well constructed
Over the years, I have owned several outdoor lounge/recliner chairs. Every single one has stopped working properly because of the locking mechanism which is usually hard plastic levers or gears with teeth. The recline feature is no more because the chairs would not stay in place. Now, this HITO Outdoor Lounge Zero Gravity Chair is another matter. My husband purchased it for me to use after my knee replacement surgery which I used in my home office. It was great! The lever and locking mechanism is all metal which made a huge difference. The chair never moved from the position I put it in. I was able to have my leg comfortably elevated which was great when I had to ice my knee after therapy sessions. I made a thicker seat/back cushion for the chair so I napped in the chair every afternoon which says much about the comfort of the chair. This summer I used it out on my deck. I am hoping I have this chair for years to come.
