Q: How long and how wide are both sizes?

I ordered the regular size for my grandma. The regular is three feet long (perfect for protecting her lap as well as the front of her torso) and it's about a foot and a half wide.

Q: what is the edging made of?

It seems to be bias tape. It lies nice and flat.
