Is it a short/narrow brim? That would be 2 inches or less.

Yes it is and it is very comfortable.

Does the front/bill have a snap button or is it stitched?

It doesn't have a snap button, but the hat I received was more suited for a small child, and wouldn't come close to fitting me. I Never could wear it.....
