Would not recommend too beginners, start with something easier!
The fabric is heavy do your hard work with not be"washed away" when you use them. I had just finished two quilts of24 18x18 squares. I thought I was so done with hand embroidery after two years of embroidering I was pleasantly surprised that I'm thoroughly enjoying embroidering these pillowcases. One is done and I'm about1/3 done with the second. It does have a lot of satin stitching (I do my own stitch there, see pictures), so if you don't like that stitch you may be better off with something else. I'll be looking for something else I'm sure when in done with this.

I love it! Well made pillow cases with very good stamping to follow. So so beautiful! I'm using my choice of colors for the flowers and it's turning out beautifully! The design is so intricate and gorgeous!
