what is the diameter at the hole end of the mute?

The top of the mute is 2" in diameter and the bottom is 2.5" in diameter. It is only 4" high. It is very effective in keeping the sound in and practice very strong breathing but not for concert purposes.

Does it work with pbone ptrumpet1b plastic trumpet?

I have a p-Cornet trumpet and and a brass cornet and it works with those. Works great. I'm pretty sure it would work in the ptrumpets.

Is it possible to order a replacement for the styrofoam piece that goes on one end?

I don't really know the answer about replacing the styrofoam piece. Yes, after a bit of time, mine came off as well but never looked into how to replace it.
