The Best of The Best, what every other digging tool wants to grow up and be. Don't waste your money on cheap knock offs. If you can find this one (and make sure it has the waterproof compartment) buy it. They are becoming harder to find but so worth the search and purchase. It's a little pricier but so worth the money. I use it for metal detecting and it works great. The serrated edge and blade are sharp (not cut you sharp) enough to dig and pull a plug like cutting through butter and the sheath is very well constructed too. Trust me you'll love it.

Perfect. I love these Lesche diggers. This is my second.I've been Metal Detecting since 1973, and have used every recovery tool made.These are the best.The only issue with the 'compartment' on this model is that since the tool is made of high carbon steel for strength, the inside of the handle can rust quite easily. I spray mine with WD-40 and it seems to help.

Is strong; tuff; and does the job required of it.
