Perfect for or Crested Gecko
This terrarium is perfect for our crested gecko. She is about a year old and her old terrarium broke which sent us on a frantic search for a new one that she would love and quickly. We paid for one-day shipping and it arrived perfectly. We were REALLY impressed with the packaging. It was in 3 boxes total with Styrofoam inserts to protect it. Initially it was difficult for me to figure out to to open the doors on the terrarium. I was turning the knob, but I was worried I would break it turning it too far or forcing it and so I wasn't turning it far enough. You need to turn it until you hear/feel two clicks. After a few times of doing it you get the feel for it and it no longer feels like you'll break it by opening it.Pros:- Tons of space for our crested gecko- back climbing wall that she loves- easy access to the tank from the top and the doors- Well vented with the screen on topCons:- Door knob initially felt flimsy and was difficult, but after you get used to it it feels fine- The screen makes it hard to keep the humidity up. We put a small piece of plexi-glass on top to help.I would absolutely recommend this to other crested gecko owners.

Packaged very well! Great first time purchase for beginners. Get a CHAMELEON!
I read all of the reviews and I was apprehensive about purchasing this from Amazon. I knew I could easily return it should it arrive broken. First time I decided to purchase from Amazon as my local pet store did not have the size I needed in stock. My 12x12x18 arrived packed in a box that was it's exact size, packaged inside of another box filled with sealed air and Styrofoam packing. It could have been dropped and had 1.5 inches on each side to get dented before even touching the actual cage. Had tons of "FRAGILE GLASS" labels all over the box.I own all the sizes as I have over 50 reptiles im my reptile room. The larger sizes feel as if they "shift" when being moved. Be careful with them as to not break the seals, they hold water great if they aren't broken.I bought this to add Pygmy Chameleons to my reptile room. It seems to be much sturdier than the other cages I own, although I believe that could be because it is so small. First cage I own this small other than my DIY dart frog cage.I do not care for the Styrofoam background. I breed and feed Blaptica Dubia Roaches, although I have not y had any problem with them hiding behind it, it just looks cheesy.Pros:-Great Cable Management-Good airflow-Allows for high humidity and airflow-Heat mat (8W) won't crack glass even when it gets all the way to 120F. Don't try to put a 24W mat on this without a thermostat. I have not tried it, but I wouldn't waste my money like this.-Holds water excellently, won't leak so long as you don't "jar" the seals when unpacking it. I find its better to remove the box from larger sizes than it is to remove the cage and keep the box intact. Just demolish the box.-Doors open really smoothly. Don't get hard to open over time either.-Doors alignment is perfect to close all gaps on front. Be careful if you have a quick reptile, they can fit their head (bearded dragons and leos) through the hold between the door seam and side wall.Cons:-Thin glass, can be sharp.-Silicon Seals. This can be a pro and con. Because I feed dubia, it is a con because they are able to climb it. Luckily because of how well the top seals, they have never escaped. I have seen my chameleons eat a dubia that was on the Silicon seal, so I can't complain.-Aluminum screen will rust unless you treat it with a clear coat product used for car paints. Buy a can from Walmart. I do this about a month before planning on adding animals and have never had a problem in over 8 years. I own about 35 of these cages in different sizes and have done this to all but the first one I purchased. If you have an animal that does not need high humidity, you should be okay skipping this step. Consider your heating needs, I only keep animals that require under tank or side tank heating so I don't have to worry about how a heat lamp might interact with the clear coats. I keep those animals in other tanks that are more flat than tall.-Clips that close door will break over time. I have found that removing the clip that closes the doors and replacing it with a magnet close system and a lock works much better than trying to fix the door clip when it fails with your animal inside. Do this before adding animals.-Dubia roaches can fit through the cable management holes in the top rear of the cage. This review was written based on my experience with these style of cages over the past 8 years. I would recommend this to any reptile owner from beginner to advanced keepers.

Awesome for arboreal tarantulas
This enclosure is a must have for pets. I have always used exo terra for my leopard geckos, tarantulas, etc. It's design is simple but effective. Easy to assemble, holds heat well, doesn't scratch up or have bad smudging, lets lots of bright light in, and doesn't leak at all. Highly recommend to those seeking a decent arboreal enclosure!

Nice vertical tank
I love it, it’s very pretty and clean looking, my gecko can’t seem to really stick to the Foam backdrop which I didn’t know was foam, but can’t find a better one. The lock is good and strong. I like it, had to close the tiny sliver wholes so crickets would go back there. Pretty I just need to add more greenery that can hold her weight for her now.

5 Stars for Sure
Excellent enclosure, very spacious, sturdy and secure. The shipping was lightning fast and the order was packaged extremely well protected. This is exactly what I needed for my aboreal Avicularia braunshauseni. Having access to the enclosure from the front and top will be convenient when it comes to feeding. Compared to other enclosures, the price factor is very reasonable.

These are without a doubt the best terrariums out there
I personally own four of these terrariums for my various creatures. These are without a doubt the best terrariums out there! Perfect for just about anything from dart frogs, to scorpions, to bearded dragons! The front opening door makes cleanup and maintenance very very easy! It’s also convenient if you have a fast moving tarantula or other pet that you worry about escaping you can open just one door at a time for feeding, misting, etc... No need to worry about sand getting trapped in a sliding door or a clever pet escaping! The tops all have latched in them to hold it into place. These are very well built and of the highest quality! I wouldnt recommend anything else to a serious pet owner!
