FIT SPIRIT Sport Neck Cool Cooling Towels - 2 Pack

We planned a summer Disney trip and I was worried about the heat, and some googling around suggested using these cooling towels to help keep from getting overheated while standing in line in the Californai sun. I was SO glad we bought them!They really do work, the wetter they are the colder they are. All you do is get them wet, ring them out slightly so they aren't drippy, and then drape them wherever you want to be cool. They're great over your head and neck. These towels are also big enough to cover up an average adults shoulders and upper back. My 5 month old slept comfortably under one on and off throughout the entire day, even at the peak of the heat he was cool enough not to be sweaty! (Photo proof below ;) )They were also great over the kids laps or behind their backs in the stroller. I'm ordering another pack for our next trip so everyone can have their own!

Ordinarily an ancient dish towel (that's been laundered to texture of cheesecloth for comfort) is dunked in water and slung around my neck. It works well. But it is not suitable for venues other than the deck / garden area.Yesterday I went to a casual gathering and used my 'Fit Spirit' for the first time. It was perfect. It stayed nice and cool, required only occasional re-dunking, and didn't drip. My shirt got slightly damp but only in the spot actually covered by the 'towel' (??), so no problem there.I never 'snapped' it. I'm assuming this is a locker-room type snap and not a two-handed pull/snap. Later, when I gave it to my husband to try, we snapped it, locker-room style. It didn't seem to make much of a difference, but since it was working well anyway we didn't care.I would buy this again. I WILL buy this again. My husband's b'day is right around the corner and since he will have stolen mine by then, I'll get the new ones.BTW, we have only tried the 26" x 4" towel at present, so I'm unable to make an informed assessment of the 31" x 13" towel, but it's going to be just as good. I intend on cutting that in two lengthwise. Then my husband shall have three to run off with.

I find the smaller one the most handy, it's perfect for wrapping around my neck, or head. It helps in this hot weather to have this to cool the skin a bit. I foolishly forgot to use my sunscreen and got a sunburn. Witch hazel is a HUGE healer for sunburns and I'm using it often. However, it doesn't make the skin feel cool like this towel does! I let the witch hazel dry and then I apply this towel wet and it feels so much better! It's healing up nicely. You can see in the photo....it's coming along well for only the 2nd day. The larger towel would be handy for larger areas of cooling; that may come in handy later, or if I were just lying down, but this smaller one is great for wearing as you are up and about. It can be worn anywhere really. And, it doesn't dry out TOO fast to keep cooling; that was my concern, that it was made to dry so fast that it would lose it's cooling power too quickly but that is not the case. It does stay wet/cool well enough to be worthwhile. It also comes in a great plastic container to store the towels in once they are dry and no longer in use. I have been using these cooling towels for two years now and they work excellent. I have MS, hot flashes and work outdoors. These cooling towels are a life saver. I run them under cold water, then wring them out and fold in thirds to put around my neck. When I am done, I wash them, wring them and hang them to dry. They dry hard, but become soft again when wet. I love them!

I have never used a cooling towel before and wanted to try it so I gave it a shot. I don't think what I had in my head was exactly what I got. Which is a good thing. It was so unique. Nothing like I have every used before. I thought it would be like that infomercial where that wacky guy with drive through headset. But it was not like that either. It was nothing like I have every felt before. It was a bit of a spongy felt to it but not like that either. It felt smooth and cool to the touch. The seller recommends washing them before use, which I did. When I first used it during the workout it was kinda cool because the towel was cool to the touch and made me more relaxed. Also it absorbs all the sweat the first time around. Unlike the towels that will move it around sometimes this one absorbs everything. Combine that with the cool touch of the towel you feel a bit more refreshed. Overall, while this was a new thing try, it was pretty cool. I know used that word a lot but it is. I plan to order more so I have a few more to use through out the week. I ordered these for some family members who spend every weekend in the summer at our local amateur racetrack speedrome watching family and friends race midgets and stock cars. They loved these. When one side of the towel would get warm they would fold it over to the other side and it would be cool again. They're out the for about 3 to 4 hours and they said these towels stayed cool the whole time. With that being said I can recommend this brand as can they.I recieve items for free and/or discounted frequently in return for an honest review. This however is an item I paid full price for and would do so again.

I first bought these back in 2017. The size was bigger and they saved me from heatstroke during a very, very, VERY hot vacation at Disney World. I got these in 2021 thinking they would work great for regular workouts. These are not as absorbent as before and they're cut into tiny strips! Useless.

It’s old technology, when the towels dry, they are as stiff as cardboard and can be ripped/frayed similarly. Indeed the towels come premoistened in an airtight vapour barrier bag, further the instructions advise you too moisten the towels to restore pliability. If you’re looking for a towel to use on yourself and not a car, then I would advise that you consider other Amazon Prime vendors. My top 2 recommendations on Amazon (Prime) would be Tasajee and BOGI.

Bought as we are expecting a baby this summer and want to keep both of us cool during breastfeeding or outdoor walks. Have used several times just for myself and they are great! Love that they don't drip or leave much wetness like a regular cloth would, and flicking them makes them cool again - great for my swollen, warm pregnant feet when I'm trying to sleep :) They do get hard like cardboard when you dry them, but air dry flat or draped evenly over a towel/drying rack and they are still pliable enough to roll back up to store without tearing like actual cardboard would.

I would give this a good rating, except that when I took the towels out of the container, they were of course hard as a rock and stuck together. I began wetting the large towel to soften and loosen it, but the material was really stuck together, and therefore ripped as I tried to carefully unfold it and pull it apart. The pictures are the tears that the towel sustained.

Extremely absorbant and high quality towel. Used by lifegards everywhere, this particular towel offers a much better value than the premium brands costing at least twice as much in specialty stores. I take the towels to the hot yoga for cooling off and they are good. Also took then to the vacay in Cuba and what a great idea for the heat! Taking one star because I'm very sensitive to smells and once they are wet they smell funky.
