Built good, easy to use for a small project. Very heavy, and doesnt come with clamps to jold down bar for bending. The face of it cpuld be painted , its bare metal and is prone to elements and rusting. Overall if your looking for a brake for small light work, this one works just fine for the money

Very good for the money $60-70. With that said I wouldn't spend anymore then that for this. I had to reinforce in 2 spots due to flex while bending longer 20" pieces. I had to tig weld the annoying handles in because they have small set screws that work out. And it's impossible to know your angle without completely pulling the work piece out of the bender to measure. Shipping was super poor and came styrofoam inside of a box. This is way to heavy for this packaging method and completely fell apart by the time it got to my door. The one handle mount was bent during shipping but still seams ok for what I'll be bending. Again this is a 30" metal break for cheap. It's not for precise work and don't expect a perfect part after bending! It bows while bending long pieces and have to rubber mallet then straight. I'm a small fabrication shop and can't afford a better unit right now and grateful I have what I have for the price I paid.

This bending brake has way too much flex. Attempting to fold a thin piece of sheet metal resulted in a rounded bend, not the crisp straight crease I was hoping for. I could have had a better job by bending the metal in a vise. No good. NOTE: there are several you tube videos about how to fix all the issues these benders have. For the time spent modifying one of these, I think you're better off a real bending brake. The manufacturer should watch these videos and a bending brake that works. The only nice thing is the compact size.

I searched high and low to find miniature standing seam metal roof panels for my bird houses, but they were not to be found, so the next best thing was finding the right metal break and it has proven to be the cat's meow. Thanks for the great product.

This thing is heavy duty, made with solid materials and well crafted. It has some limitations in its capabilities though: It can't fold past 180 degrees and the plates are relatively deep, which means that making opposite bends closer than about three inches on metal thicker than 1/2mm is almost impossible. It also doesn't have embedded clamps so you have to clamp the pressure metal bar with your own clamps which slows down the process of moving the work piece around. The most significant limitation is that it can't do bends narrower than approximately 270 degrees, so something like a hem will require multiple steps and have to be finished by hand. But other than that this is a great deal for the price, and if you are willing to do some manual work, this is an inexpensive tool that can save you a ton of time.

This thing rocks for the price point. It is heavy duty for its size. It is nice when working on small parts and a break that is 4' isn't needed.

It's tough, it's heavy, not too big, not too small. For making transitions on furnace re/re's. This brake allows me to make the seams I want and have it look professional.
