True to size, definitely kid proof! Super well made and also super light (they’re really thick soled and definitely made for durability) would definitely buy again once she grows out of these ones

quality boot
My 13 year old son has worn these boots through 3 seasons including winter, spring, and fall. We live in an area that experiences lots of snow, mud, rain, and cold. The outside quality has proven to be durable after a year of use. It states that the boot is waterproof but my son often has to use the boot dryer after wearing these for a long period of time. I give it 4 star rating because of the wetness that still is absorbed in the boot. The price seemed reasonable compared to similar boots.
