I don't know for sure, but the bed is made of vinyl or something like that, so maybe it could melt it? Not sure, so I wouldn't do that. People are not supposed to lie down on top of heating pads due to maybe getting burned. A heating pad on top of a person is okay or put behind the back, if sitting in a chair. You might want to ask the manufacturer your specific question.

Can i return product after i open package and never used?

I was able to. I just made sure it was packaged back neatly with everything that came with it.

No, mine came in a box and plastic bag, nothing else.
