Bought this for a 3.5 Elmar screw lens. Looks very good, and is a nice fit onto the front of the lens.Most importantly, it will stop the sun shining through and burning a hole in your shutter curtains.

A little expensive for what it is, but it does the job really well and looks very smart. This is adoring my zorki-1c with a FED-10. There's a bit of light seal around the inside of the lens cap that sits snugly on the ridge of the lens front. Very pleased.

I wondered if this cap would fit the Summaron-M 28mm f/5.6 manufactured in 2017. The 2017 lens measures about 37.4mm and the supplied cap 37.6mm excluding the felt trim which provides an interference fit.The Ewoop is described as 36mm and measures 36.4mm excluding the rubber trim which provides an interference fit on a 36mm lens.So the answer is unfortunately no, this Ewoop does not work with the 2017 Summaron-M.If I did have an original Summaron 28mm f/5.6 I wouldn't hesitate to use the Ewoop lens cap in place of a Leica original. It is well made for the job it needs to do. And of course, very good value!PS: I use a very cheap black plastic 34mm lens cap on the Summaron-M which also does the job.
