On receiving this unit,I thoroughly tested it before installation.It requires 3 wires, live, neutral and a switch wire to the lamp. The internal neutral block is 2gang linked. Various adjustments were made to the light sensor and the unit worked well.Neat size and IP44 rated.

Compact and neat
I bought this to replace a 10 year old plus sensor that was switching a 240v/12v transformer for my garden lights that had stopped working.My old sensor had 3 wires live, neutral and switched live. This unit requires 4 wires, live and neutral in and switched live and neutral return. No real problem for my set up to run out another wire as it was in conduit. I mounted my sensor on a slim adaptable electrical box from Toolstation.Unit looks very neat and if it gives the same amount of service as my old one I'll be very happy.

Compact and Working Well
It has a very small terminal block and small cable entry inside so it's awkward. One way is to fit a small (waterproof) junction box to the main wiring and run thinner leads to the device.It certainly works well though.It won't get a star for "motion detector" as it's not made for this.

Failed this week.
Failed this week. Replaced now with plug in one, easier to replace. Initially chose this one because Lux is adjustable, whereas the plug in ones are all or nothing. Disappointed. will try claiming under warranty but doubt they will do anything after having it for three months.

Great product
This part look great and works really well, used it to turn on 3 spot lights under my porch.Really neat to use on a residential property5 stars

Great product
Simple to connect up, the incoming and out going cables. My only negative is that although the sensor doesn't require an earth, the lights I installed require earthing, so I had to use a separate connector to join them inside the box, which luckily there was enough room, a simple earth block inside would have been a better idea, so I give it 9/10.
