During the winter months I dry towels in the tumble drier, and they come out soft and fluffy. Unfortunately I'd unpacked all of these and swished them through a cool wash as I usually do with new cotton things, and then I read the instructions. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY!!!! I didn't think I needed to read instructions on how to wash and dry cotton towels, and certainly wouldn't have bought them if I'd known.....grrrr

The towels were very poor quality. Although new, they felt as if they had been washed many, many times in hard water without using fabric softener.The colour was good.

extremely thin towels, probably shouldn't be surprised given the price, another reviewer suggests they get thicker once they are washed but this wasn't my experience (maybe if I boiled them for several hours they would shrink enough for the weave to become denser?) and I imagine once you've washed them you can no longer return them

I am going to buy more of these towels. They are excellent value. The towels are a great colour which does not come out in the washing machine. The immediate thing I noticed about the towels as well is how lovely and soft they are. They feel and look luxurious, soft and expensive.

Absolutely dreadful! What a misleading description. In fact, I'm going to report it to Amazon. The towels were NOT hotel quality or thick at all. They were so thin, you could almost see through them when you hold them up to the light. I dont know what products the other reviewers have been purchasing but it certainly cannot be the same shoddy goods I received today. Absolutely appalling. Do not buy.

I went by the good reviews hoping the bad ones were inaccurate but unfortunately they were not very good. Very thin even after washing even using an eco conditioner. The colour is good but there appears to be a line across the centre of each one. Defibately doesn't feel like good quality Egyptian cotton so very disappointing

When they arrived I was a little gutted that they were thinner than expected BUT when I washed them they plumped up and are FAB! super soft, absorbing and really nice to use. Husbands very pleased and for the money excellent value. Would DEF buy more

These are so thin and unable to tumble dry according to instructions which means they will feel even worse after washing as I love a lovely floffy towel from tumble dryer wish, as it's the day before Xmas Eve I can not be bothered to return so will just use them for when I am putting hair dye in my hair as won't be any issue if these get covered in hair dye so I guess they will come in handy after all.
