These are solid pieces. Seem well painted. Will update if necessary as time goes by. The medium is much smaller than the large. I would opt for the large if you are using for plecos or rainbow/red-tailed sharks and such. The large is great value at $20. The medium is a dwarf of the large, and side-by-side seems like it should be priced at half simce it's half the size. Never the less...it's still a nice piece.

WOW, packaging was above and beyond. There was no way this item can mistakenly be broken during shipping. The weight of the item is perfect, not heavy but solid and will not float !! I bought the large and my Cichlids loves the realistic log as the prefect hiding spot. Is large enough to not get a bunch of fish tank junk build up under it. Wonderful introduction of this seller. I will make this my preferred choice for quality items set for perfection in helping me out with my fish tank hobby.

My Ball Pythons love it, looks beautiful in their environment. Great for young Ball Pythons, a bit too small for full grown.

I have a 10-inch Tire Track eel and he needed a nice size home/cave where he'd feel comfortable. I have another similar log that's a bit bigger and while my small puffers and other fish like swimming through that one, my eel never did stay in it much. This one is a smaller version, and the eel always hangs out in it. He sleeps in it and uses it to stay protected while he peeks his head and 1/3rd of his body out to keep an eye on the outside environment. In fact, I bought two of these and put the other one in another tank and the assorted fish and eels in that tank enjoy it just as much!

Very well made. I bought the XL size and my axie barely fits. He’s a big boy though (9”) but he loves his new hiding spot. Would recommend this product. 👍🏼
