Best thing in my bathroom

Looks great, works a treat, tidy bathroom.
Fitted in place of existing toothbrush/shaver socket and works a treat. No unsightly cable dangling down and no clutter on countertop. Easy to install and 2nd holder next to it (also on Amazon) to store another toothbrush finishes the job.

Can be left on all the time
Like a lot of people, we thought we could plug our two prong plug toothbrush charger into the shaver socket in the bathroom and just leave it there. Well apparently you can't. Shaver sockets aren't designed like that and if you leave them under constant load, they eventually fail. Since we don't have an electric shaver, we took out the shaver socket and fitted this. It sit's nicely in the original back box and our toothbrush just sits on top. Take off the brush, use it and put it back. It looks nice, there are no wires anywhere and importantly it has worked flawlessly for nearly two years.

Toothbrush holder
Brilliant bit of kit, no charging leads or plugs in bathroom, toothbrush (Oral B) sits and charges really well. Unfortunately there no indicator light, confirming toothbrush will charge, bit disappointed about that but used a double pole pull cord isolator with a neon lamp when on so I know its charging :) requires a deep pattress fitting 47mm min, worth checking how much space behind you have before you buy.

No instructions on how to install. Worked it out anyway. Working fine so far. Replaced average size shaver socket. Looks great, no more wires.

An upmarket swop
This is a brilliant product! It's such a good idea. When you're using it to replace a traditional shaver point, the wiring switchover is so simple. Do remember to switch off the mains power first!

Great concept and works well
This is a great concept and does the job perfectly. Prior to installing this I used to have wires permanently trailing from the shaver socket that was only used for toothbrushes. My old shaver socket used to also have a slight hum from the transformer, but I get no noise from this one. I have had it for 2 months now and absolutely no issues. Very easy to install once the power is turned off and fits well to the wall. Would I recommend it as a purchase... Yes I would.
