They are easy to put on, and they do a better than average job of holding up the pants. Personally, I like the ones that have two loops in the front and tulips in the back.

Dad is 98 years old and just recently started to wear suspenders again (after giving them up in the 1960s).Apparently, he learned how to goof up wearing suspenders. I've never knew you could tie sailor knots with these, even when they are already attached to pants, but dad picked up a knack for it.Problem with regular suspenders is that they clip to the pant edge and, once set, can be twisted in all sort of shapes because the clip doesn't move.These use a style of clip (actually a hook) that attaches not to the pants, but to the belt loops. And these hooks swivel!Dad still gets them twisted but a move here and there straightens them right back to normal.Thank You!
