Does not fit large mouth bottle, but stick the pump in there and it works.

Works good for sucking fluid out like transmission fluid to put it in the transmission and a Ford F-150 2000 on the 12 because they do not have dipsticks on the way to feel it it's from underneath yes I do recommend it

This pump is very similar to a hand transfer pump I have used for 25 years. This new version does not transfer low viscosity fluids (water, thin hydrocarbon solvents) as well as the old pump because the check valve on the bottom of the pump has changed. The old version had a viton 'foot' valve that sealed well regardless of the fluid viscosity. The new version uses a metal ball and tapered seat; it doesn't seal well for thin fluids. The pump is a decent value. The included tygon tubing has a very thin wall and is permanently crimped from being bent in the package over time.

if the 'fits gallon jugs' is a priority, then don't buy it. But if you can live without that convenience, then this little thing is just what the doctor ordered. one tip i would make is on its first use you may have to prime it, but after that it worked as advertised. hey guys, it's less that $10 and if it just gets you through one chore, then be happy, buy 2 and be ready.

Fit exactly no mess easy to use very good price

This does fit gallon jug but has issues that could been done to make it worth something. First issue is tube is kinked in 2 spots when taken out of package and very hard to get them out. Second issue is hose is too short, needs to be about 4 feet. Third issue is it would not suck that last 3/4 of cup out, at $40 a gallon that is costly. Took 2 people to use this, 1 to hold tube in and another to bump it. Will just buy some clear hose and fit it to a funnel. Use some duct tape. They are getting this back. Newer cars do not have an easy fill plug. On our Mustang 6R80 transmission it requires 19 MM wrench to get it off. That is a Ford issue. They think for $9 you will not return, guess what you screwed the wrong person.

Bought this to use on a one gallon jug of valvoline gear oil to fill my rear differential. No, it didn’t screw onto the top of the jug because the jug opening is too big. It still worked great. Pump is meant to screw snugly on a quart bottle. The extensions worked good getting at the bottom of the jug.

Didn't fit any bottle that we tried, but it worked when it was just on loose. But, it didn't make it through one bottle of transmission fluid before it shattered.
