20x25x1 Air Filter, MERV 12, MPR 1500, 2 HVAC Filters

High-Performance Air Filters for Cleaner, Healthier Air" Introduction: The Filtrete 20x25x1 AC Furnace Air Filter (MERV 12, MPR 1500) is designed to improve indoor air quality by trapping allergens, dust, and other particles. With a CERTIFIED asthma & allergy friendly designation, it’s ideal for homes where clean air is a priority. I tested this filter over a 3-month period in a household with pets and allergy sufferers to assess its performance and durability. Pros: ✅ Effective Filtration: The MERV 12 rating captures a wide range of particles, including pet dander, pollen, and smoke. ✅ Asthma & Allergy Friendly Certification: Provides peace of mind for allergy sufferers by improving indoor air quality. ✅ Electrostatic Technology: Attracts and traps particles efficiently, outperforming non-electrostatic filters. ✅ Durable Construction: Pleated design offers a large surface area for filtration, lasting up to 3 months as advertised. ✅ Easy to Install: Fits snugly into the 20x25x1 slot without gaps, ensuring proper airflow and filtration. Cons: ❌ Higher Cost: Premium performance comes at a slightly higher price compared to basic filters. ❌ May Reduce Airflow in Older Systems: Some older HVAC systems may experience reduced airflow due to the higher filtration level. Performance and Usability: The Filtrete filter performed exceptionally well, noticeably reducing airborne dust and improving air quality within days of installation. Allergy sufferers in the household experienced less irritation, even during high-pollen seasons. The filter maintained its effectiveness throughout the 3-month lifespan, with no visible sagging or loss of structural integrity. Installation was simple and secure, ensuring optimal operation. Comparison: Compared to lower-rated filters, such as MERV 8 or MERV 10 options, the MERV 12 rating provides superior filtration for finer particles, making it a better choice for households with allergies or pets. While HEPA filters may offer slightly higher filtration, they are typically more expensive and not always compatible with standard HVAC systems. Who Is This For?: This filter is ideal for households with asthma or allergy sufferers, pet owners, or anyone looking to improve indoor air quality. It’s particularly useful during allergy seasons or in areas with high pollution levels. Conclusion: The Filtrete 20x25x1 AC Furnace Air Filter delivers excellent performance for improving indoor air quality. Its asthma & allergy-friendly certification and effective particle capture make it a worthwhile investment for health-conscious households. While it may cost more than basic filters, its durability and effectiveness justify the price.

Great filters. My apartment complex put in terribly low filtration filters and I sneeze and cough every time the AC is running. But with these, a good deal of irritants that bother me are trapped before getting circulated about the apartment. I sneeze and cough much less when Im inside with better HEPA filters like these. I also run ASA 3D printers near the AC inlet with their own HEPA and carbon filters. So I try to keep my circulated air as clean as possible. These filters help.

I’ve had the same lifetime air filter since I bought the house. It didn’t seem like it was catching enough dirt and it was looking kind of tired. I saw these and the filtration level sounded really good. I live in a very dusty area, Las Vegas. This filter catches a lot of dust and dirt and my dogs fur. I have to admit I’m a little stingy so I’ve taken them out and vacuumed out the dogs fur and some of the dust four times already so that I make it through the summer, which is my heavy Air conditioning season and then I will buy another set for the winter. I highly recommend them. They catch a lot of dirt I didn’t know it was going through before I got them.

Great AC Filter and does the job.

The size was just right, and it fits in my AC return compartment tightly. The price was very competitive, even compared to buying more quantity from the club house. The quality is as good as some name-brand filters I have bought in the past and it is durable enough that lasted over 4 months in one of my registers. I haven't had a chance to really determine its ability to remove odors, but I haven't had any issues with it either. Will buy again.

Works well

I could tell these were filtering much more than my prvious filters. They are a bit pricey because of the 3M brand name. My air monitos show les particles in the air with these and not too restrictive for my furnance.

I replaced the filters and in a few hours I enjoyed fresh and clean air!!! I Cooked hamburgers in a pan and it even absorbed the smell of dinner that usually hangs around for a few hours after. Love these air filters thats why I have a subscription they work fabulously!!!👃👃👃👃👃

I’ve been using Filtrete 16x25x1 Furnace Filters for a while now, and I’m extremely impressed with their performance. These MPR 1500, MERV 12 filters are a great investment for anyone looking to improve indoor air quality, especially if you have allergies or respiratory sensitivities. The filters do an excellent job at capturing a wide range of airborne particles, including dust, pollen, pet dander, and even smoke. Since using these filters, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in allergens and dust in the air, which has made a noticeable difference in my home’s air quality. My family (and especially my allergy-prone kids) have been breathing easier, and we’re all sleeping better at night. What I love about these filters is that they’re very efficient at trapping particles without being too thick or difficult to fit. The pleated design increases surface area for better filtration while still allowing for good airflow. Installation is quick and easy, and they last a solid three months, as promised. The 2-pack is also a great deal, providing good value for the price. I also appreciate that Filtrete offers these filters in various MERV ratings, so you can choose the level of filtration that best suits your needs. The MERV 12 rating strikes a perfect balance between excellent filtration and maintaining airflow in the system. If you want to keep your home’s air clean and healthy, I highly recommend these Filtrete Furnace Filters. They’re effective, affordable, and really do improve the quality of indoor air. Definitely a must-have for allergy sufferers or anyone looking to breathe cleaner air at home!
