As the title says. It's almost perfect. Except it does not measure the capacitance I need, microfarad. But for normal use, It seems to be working fine. I will reevaluate this in a year or so. To see if it holds up.

I've seen these In a class the build quality is very good the kickstand helps out. the size is good the amount is fair $85. the ease of use takes a bit to get used to for the first time. the Backlight pretty good if in a dark area and you need to see it press the button there you go. performance from my tests very good. Accuracy is very good too.

All the text is in Chinese the manual the box and info cards not a single word in English.

I hate to give such a brutal rating, but I must be honest. I'm just getting into electronics and this is my first major tool that I bought. It was recommended to buy used but I figured I'd spend a bit more and look into a more reputable brand considering the potential dangers with poor gear. I just got this a couple hours ago. Shipping was fine but as you can see in the pics, the case isn't fully enclosed. I may try to fix myself but not sure if the insides are or would be damaged. Based on the quality control, I'm not too confident to test it. And for the price, I cannot recommend. Paying extra for new but getting used looking equipment doesn't do much for having confidence in the functionality. Especially when it's the first product you buy from a brand. Not confident in the tool enough to actually use it so can not award any stars for accuracy, ease of use, nor readability.

Excellent product. Has a lot of features you won't find in similarly priced multimeters. Auto range. Temp. AC and DC. Has storage on back side of multimeter for leads. Feels sturdy. Has a kick stand on the back. Two thumbs up for the price.

Have owned many multimeters. Really like these. So many features combined in one device at a great price.

I own a true RMS clamp meter and MS8910 SMD tester. I've been very happy with them and based on the quality of those meters I bought this one. By comparison the MS8229 is plasticky and cheap. The case has hard sharp rough edges along the molding and the sockets for the test leads are very rough, but I do like the test leads. The meter lights up the test lead sockets required for the currently selected measurement until the leads are inserted. It beeps loudly at you if the leads are plugged into the wrong socket. Some may like this feature but I wish I could turn it off. The continuity beeper isn't latched, so it makes a scratching sound over the beep rather than the solid beep from the MS2108 and MS8910. I'd rate the meter as slightly disappointing. I'll probably keep it because I bought it for the temperature measurement and I have better equipment for other measurements that matter (Fluke and Rigol).

Meine Erfahrungen: -Strom, Spannung, Widerstand werden schnell und (genau mit Toleranz) gemessen -Backlight bleibt dauerhaft an, was sehr sinnvoll ist wenn man es einschaltet -Buchsenbeleuchtung ist hilfreich -sehr angenehmer Piepser -lux und db Messungen sind nur relativ zum eigenen Gerät vergleichbar -Rel. Feuchtigkeit ist +-10% genau, Temperatur hingegen +-1°C -das Gerät ist etwas klobig, aber nicht zu schwer -gute Messleitungen Wer die extra Funktionen nicht will, ist besser mit einem 30€ Gerät anderer Hersteller beraten. Alle anderen können sich hier über etwas Messspaß freuen

The multimeter seems to work properly. It integrates many useful functions. Minus one star for delay in delivery.

If you need an amazing, accurate, reliable multimeter with tons of great features packed in but dont want to spend a huge price. Seriously buy this thing. Its such a low barrier to entry and easy to use. When you select a setting like Volts for instance it will auto set the scale, and it lights up which probe ports to use so you cant mess it up. I love this meter.

Well it seemed like a good multimeter until I went to test out the frequency range feature. I followed the instructions to the letter and put the two leads in the correct ports as it lights up if in the wrong one. After touching the leads on the mains outlet it just gave a blue flash inside where the ports where and stopped working. I then checked the fuse with another meter and it is fine. It now reads just zero for every measurement. Some chip has obviously popped inside!!! What's a waste of money!

This truly a great meter...for advanced users..I have had a few meters in my career. Also good for beginners.
