This kit has made my sourdough baking experience so much easier! I wanted to get into sourdough baking but I was so overwhelmed with how much you needed, I found this and the price was amazing. When it came in, the box was heavy and all the products in it was made really well. It has a little basket in it and a ton of stuff and it all looks so nice. Highly recommend

I’ve been baking sourdough at home for a while, and up until now I was using a cloth-lined bowl to proof my dough. It worked, but once I tried these wood pulp banneton baskets, I realized how much easier—and better—the process could be. The first thing I noticed is how sturdy and well-shaped they are. Instead of sticking or spreading out like it sometimes did in my makeshift setup, the dough now holds its shape beautifully. I’ve proofed both standard sourdough boules and higher-hydration doughs in these baskets, and both came out with impressive results. I'm a beginner to baking sourdough bread. I expected the kit would have a recipe for how to make starter. There wasn't one and I contacted the seller and was immediately sent a recipe on how to make a starter. I had to contact the seller a couple of times and each time they responded within 24 hours. The customer service support is outstanding; far better than other companies I have encountered. Ok, now for the product. I found the quality of everything in this kit wonderful. I had no problems with anything in the kit.(If I am allowed to say this to beginners:Google Fannie Loves Food is a great video tutorial for beginners from step one until the bread comes out of the oven)

I’ve been making sourdough for a while, but my loaves were often a bit flat. I had been considering a banneton basket for some time but wasn’t sure which one to buy, so I was excited to receive this one as a gift and finally try it out. After using it, I noticed a clear improvement in my loaf shape compared to my previous attempts. While my bread still isn’t perfect, that’s due to my technique—not the basket. The banneton holds dough well during proofing and helps maintain structure. The basket itself is thicker than I expected, but it feels sturdy and well-made. The included cover also seems durable and like it will hold up well with regular use. When I initially placed the basket in the oven to harden it (as recommended), there was a slight unusual smell, but it was brief and went away quickly. It did not affect the bread at all. It comfortably proofs one loaf at a time. If you add a lot of inclusions (seeds, nuts, etc.), it does push the capacity a bit, but it still works fine. Overall, this is a functional, well-constructed banneton that has made a noticeable difference in my sourdough baking. I would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their loaf shape, especially beginners. The picture did not capture the hight I was talking about...

This is really the best Benetton I’ve used it’s super easy to use and keep clean the dough doesn’t stick and easy to come off it

These proofing baskets are fantastic! I got into the sourdough trend this year (a little late, I know) and had been using a colander lined with a tea towel to proof my dough in the fridge. These banneton baskets definitely upleveled my game and now let me proof and bake two loaves at once. I just cover them with a shower cap in the fridge and let them proof overnight - works perfectly. They’re lightweight, hold their shape well, and are easy to clean after use. The included dough whisk is also great and makes mixing the starter and dough much easier. Overall, this is a solid set for anyone getting serious about sourdough baking.

The bench scraper is extremely durable and doesn't rust easily. The blade is a little finicky to attach for the first time, but afterwards it holds up well. The basket nets are nice after they've been washed and help with sticky dough as long as sufficient flour is used.

This is a really nice banneton! They feel lightweight yet good quality, and I don't see any loose fibers which I've had issues with some other ones before. I'm giving them to my friend who makes and sells her bread, and I think they will be a great addition to her collection
