Has anyone tried this 12 qt stockpot on an induction cooktop?

I have used a 16 quart, 20 quart, and 26 quart stock pot on the induction plate to make large amounts of chicken soup, and different stocks. It works wonderful. Enough room to add homemade noodles to that soup.

So is this pot 21 qt or 18.5? And it would have to be taller than 9" to can quart jars. True size, please?

For storage purposes: The pan from countertop to rim is 9 7/8”, with the lid “inverted for storage” 10” (inches) tall. Currently rearranging cabinets and adjusting shelves to fit this monster!

Why does this have aluminum! i want a pure stainless steel pot! this is so annoying! i search stainless steel all day long for months and cant find!

This is a Stainless Steel pot, with only Aluminum base on the OUTSIDE. It WILL NOT come into contact with your food. It is used on almost all pots and pans because it has much, much more even heat distribution than any other metal, and heats up more quickly than any other type of metal.

Can this be used on glass flat top stove?

Works fine, details here now describe it works on Induction units. Most thick bottom pans today work on Induction stoves because they use Tri-Metal technology or get a layer of magnetic metal added to their base & they work well. Mainly it's all aluminum/alloy pans that have issues as they are not magnetic. Any pan a magnet sticks to their bottom of works on glass top Inductive stoves fine.
