Best Sauce ever
I bought this for my husband, as he loves flavorful heat. He's not tried it before and although I warned him, decided to try straight from the bottles.... needless to say, this is not your average store shelf hot sauce. The flavor of Insanity is great and offers a potent kick of heat. The Scorpion made him suck air through his pursed lips...lol. But the Reaper sauce... hahaha.... is not a sipping sauce by no means. After a half gallon of milk, and severe stomach cramps, he finally learned to listen to his wife. Lol. Dave's Gourmet sauces are literally the best sauces I've ever had... but be warned.... they deliver as promised. Use sparingly and you'll survive.

These bring the heat. Less is more, but the flavor is great.
Small edit: the first bottle just ran out on me in September, so I got a solid 9 months or so using it multiple times per week. Great bang for the buck in all regards. The Ghost is a noticeable step up from the insanity! Original review: Bottom line up front: Plenty of heat (especially if you're used to the sorts of hot sauces you might see on national TV), great flavor, and the bottles should last a very long time since you don't need much to add a serious punch to any meal. I'm a "hot sauce on everything" kind of guy. My favorite restaurants are the ones that put a bottle right on the table, no need to ask. That said, most of the stuff I get is on the lower end of the heat spectrum. The kinds of sauce you can pour all over a meal like you're trying to drown it. These are NOT that kind of sauce. I've done high-heat things before, but this is my first real venture into buying my own high-heat sauce (rather than just trying to order the hottest thing on a menu), and I'm still dialing in the right balance. I read a few of the reviews that suggested just a few drops will do the trick, and I was skeptical that you'd even notice it. That said, I definitely wanted to err on the side of caution my first time out, so I tried to go with two drops. The first came out nicely...and then it didn't want to give up a second drop. So I shook harder...and harder...and harder...and then a hug blop came out. Ultimately, it was probably about 5 drops worth, and that meal had some KICK. Not unmanageable at all once it was all stirred in, but you'll never confuse it with your typical hot sauces. The heat factor is magnitudes higher, even with just a few drops versus a whole coating. I've played with the ratios here and there like my own little hot sauce goldilocks. One drop is a bit too little for all but the smallest portions. 5 drops was good, but I think the sweet spot for most average portion sizes is 3 drops. With 3, I didn't notice an appreciable difference in heat or flavor versus 5, and the bottle should last even longer. For funsies, I tried a finger dab of the sauce straight, too. It's still got a great flavor, but the heat really tries to drown it out, and you'll feel it on your tongue for quite a while afterwards. It really shines best when applied in small amounts and blended in rather than being the star of the show.

One condiment you can depend on.
Three of the finest condiments on the planet as far as I am concerned. I have set this up to renew every other month and I love the convience with Amazon. I am not a fan of Amazon, but when the product cannot be bought local, I am giving no choice. I even reached out to Dave's and their site directed me to Amazon. If you love heat this is it. I love the way that the different peppers taste and the heat they pack.

A little goes longer than you think
Recently I've been craving spice, and I mean SPICE. I wanted my nose to be running by the time I was done, but I didn't want to buy concentrated powders or peppers and risk it in my eyes or something of the sort. A hot sauce can be mixed into sauces and broths with ease, and I love when my ramen is hot as sin. I did a preliminary test on all with a little drop on the end of a couple toothpicks- just enough to get a feel for the spice. In the end, I thought the Carolina Reaper was actually not as bad as the Ghost Pepper. And, while I stand by the assessment that Ghost Pepper hurts more than it is spicy, Carolina Reaper was not less hot than the Ghost Pepper. I learned this, when I put half a teaspoons worth of hot sauce into a bowl of ramen (I add things like Kewpie and Egg, so it had ample extra items to subdue it) and I ate more than 3 bites and my throat started to feel like it was swelling. It's actually so hot it's unenjoyable if you do not dose correctly. PLEASE be careful, you will think you can stand it and if you are not practiced in the ways of spice, you will not. I think a drop or two is genuinely enough if you are more comfortable with a Habanero level spice On the other two sauces, Ghost Pepper as always, just hurts. I find it feels like I have a hot food just sitting on my tongue. The spice isn't unbearable, rather its painful. Practice caution as usual, but this pepper is well known in spice. The Insanity sauce is a Perfect balance of spice- hot enough to be just enjoyable and a challenge. I recommend only two or three drops to a dipping sauce, and taste test otherwise. Downside is, out of all these spices, the flavor on this one is definitely the worst. I add this to barbecue and it's pretty noticeably smoky in a very manufactured spice kind of way. I think if you just want the spice then go crazy, but if you're aiming for flavor, have something ready to cover the flavor. All are relatively nasty, but this one was notable. OVERALL: Spicy! Dave's not screwing around with this one. Carolina Reaper maintains it's stop as the hottest pepper, and Ghost Pepper still just... Hurts. Insanity sauce is a perfect midway with a bad flavor. PLEASE NOTE: The bottles are about 4 or so inches tall? They are not terribly large, but they pack a punch so it's not necessary.

Good stuff
I was impressed with everything with this order. It arrived early, packaged so well it probably could have been air dropped without damage. Then the actual product...I'm a hot sauce nut. having spent years in Asia where everything is spicy I think I pretty much built up a high tolerance to hot sauce. I've tried many and while I've found many that are definitely really hot, and many that have great flavor, most do not have both. Another issue I often have is too much vinegar in the ingredients. I've tried all 3 flavors since receiving last night. Excellent flavor, excellent heat. So far I think I like the Ghost pepper sauce best but they are all great. The ghost pepper sauce has no vinegar in it which is awesome. The other two do have vinegar but it is way down the list of ingredients and I can barely taste it. Can't wait to make some chili this weekend and add some of this! Update...I'm a few months down the road and feel like I have achieved the perfect recipe. I love Red Devil Hot sauces flavor but it is not hot at all. So...after trial and error..I save my old bottle of Red Devil. When I buy a new one I pour out half into the old bottle. I then measure out 1 tablespoon of Ghost and 1 tbsp of Carolina Reaper and mix it into the half bottle of Red Devil. Gives me the best of both. Excellent flavor and some fire in the wire....
