Geoffrey Beene Men's Fitted Sateen Dress Shirt

I have owned over 7 of these shirts so far, in different colors (purple, green, blue, white, grey).I am not very skinny (5 ft 7 inch and 185 pounds), but these shirts are just fitted enough for me (I get 16 / 32-33).Im a pediatrician, and as a group we dress less formal than other doctors, ie., we do not wear white coats and I usually dont wear a tie. So my shirt really has to look good on its own. These are great! Very non-iron so right out of the dryer they dont have any wrinkles. A subtle shine that has gotten me nice comments from lots of people. I recently started adding in magnetic collar stays to keep the collars from flapping around, which are working great also.I do agree with some reviewers that eventually the fabric develops pilling/lumps - but for me this is after two years worth of use, which I consider a reasonable lifetime for a shirt used at least once a week.I do also agree that this shirt is not "super" fitted - it is not skin tight, which I actually like. If you want that, I would recommend Zara, H&M, or uniqlo dress shirts. My skinny friend really likes their shirts and they look good on him.I find that this shirt is appropriately fitted compared to the billowing dress shirts of my youth!

It's pretty good; but not perfect. The material is really soft and seems like good quality. All the measurements and stuff are pretty good. The major fault is that it says that this is a "fitted shirt"; which is supposed to fit pretty close to the body. But it doesn't. It's like a normal dress shirt. And it's too long to leave untucked. So you have to tuck it in. The sleeves are kinda baggy too. But it looks just fine with it being tucked in. I still like it. Make sure you have your measurements right, though!

I looked in all of our major department stores for the correct size and could not find it. Found it on Amazon.com! The shirt is very nice in person. I picked this one in part for the buttons that matched the shirt - I'm not a fan of white buttons on every color of shirt. The fabric is nice and it washes well. Haven't had to iron it yet, so I think the wrinkle-free bit is on track.

If I'd known this shirt was was shiny as it really is in person, I wouldn't have bought it. It really isn't appropriate for business wear, luckily I'm in the entertainment industry so I'll find use for it. But it really looks like something out of a 1970's disco film. The fit is great. The fabric is ridiculously shiny.

This shirt fits be perfect and has a high quality fitting. I encourage anyone looking for a shirt to go with Geoofrey Beene because the price is right an and the quality if superb.

I have a number of these shirts. Nice quality, trim but not "skinny" fit. Minimal "blousing" at the waist. A good value for the money. Will continue to buy.

the neck and the sleeves are on right size, but the body is a little bit loose, it is not slim as it called "fitted" for me.

I have a difficult time finding my 18.5/34-35 size in department stores. The fitted look of these shirts fits my athletic/muscular build great, without the "balloon" that regular shirts in this size have around the waist. I am glad I found these shirts online as I can rarely find my correct size in stores.
