Fantastic telescopic rod, light weight and durable. The lures and hooks are great quality for beginners and cant wait to use this one ( this is my second for when I'm just bait fishing and having a drink). Very good rod

I used this rod recently when sea kayaking. Being telescopic I can storage the rod in the kayak when transporting. Good range of lures and hooks that accompany the rod and reel. One minor improvement would be a a line clip on the spool but apart from that great little rod.

line is rubbish to much spring it a heavey casting rod but comes with light weights and baits, the weight stops be handy if on a string and not loose, over all is okay for first timer but line will annoy most people more so if they have not got anti reverse on.

Absolutely perfect starter kit. Fits in the small armoured backpack I use on my motorbike, takes all of 3-4 minutes to set up. Has coped fine with light spinners and also have caught 2-3 decent sized Mackrell on feathers and no sign of damage/fatigue. Would recommend, unsure on long term durability but it's good.

I ordered the 90-180 and they have sent me the wrong one. Not impressed apart from the wrong one they are a good piece of equipment.

Very late to review but this fishing rod has been amazing so far, I grabbed this late last summer to bolster my options. I'm someone that goes fishing on the Thames and coastal. With this rod, seeing the price and material I was skeptical but after landing a 21lbs ghost carp and 12lb pike I've got no issues. The reel is a bit temperamental but still gives you a smooth cast, have no issues with drawing the line back in but the size is my only issue. With the tip this rod can also be perfect for ledger fishing aswell as coarse which gives me the option to switch between using floats and weights. I really don't have any complaints tbh, it's held up, it's not degraded and I'm still looking to take this up Scotland this summer. 1 word of advice, any fish above 15lbs, take your time and just be patient because you will notice the strain sometimes where the fish put up a fight but for the price, this isn't just a begginers rod seeing as I've been fishing for over 13 years now. Would highly recommend, don't use the the frog lure as after a few strikes from predatory fish it literally disengrates

Excellent value for money. Everything you need for lure fishing. Bought this for my daughter as she wants to try fishing. Very light and my daughter is very excited having her first fishing rod.

I love the look and feel. The Package set is awesome...good way to get started. The Manual is very good with pictures and instructions. I've been wanting to get my Kids into some outdoor activities rather than TV/Video Games. Update...went Surf Fishing. Man it Cast Long and Smoth. Real is a 3000 but if feels good and Battery Smooth. I put 20lb Braid and it reeled in nice. UPDATE. APRIL 2024, still no issues. Working great. Fits in my backpack. Used it on Lakes and Surf. Cast Far. Love it.
