Set my coffee table on fire.
I ordered this candle because my mother loves candles with wooden wicks but we have terrible luck with candles in glass or ceramic jars arriving smashed to pieces, so I figured a coconut was a safe bet. Sure enough, it arrived in one piece! Mom opened it on Christmas morning and was so happy that she lit it right away and continued to burn it whenever she was home. It lasted for quite a while and the scent was lovely, right up until we noticed a kind of wood smoke scent mixing with the jasmine. It turned out that the flame had burnt straight through the bottom of the coconut and was now burning the coffee table. We quickly put it out before it did too much damage. The funny thing is, before buying the candle I thought to myself "How fire-safe is a candle in an essentially wooden vessel?" but figured that it must be safe if so many of them were being sold. Perhaps not.

Warning: Fire Hazard
It still had 1/3 of the wax remaining in it when it was last lit. About 20 minutes later it caught fire. the flames were about 8-14" high. It damaged this stereo, and if it had not been extinguished quickly, surely much more damage would have occurred.
