It’ll cut!
I purchased these to trim the vegetation around my property which consists of a bunch of oak trees and a variety of woody shrubs. These clippers feel very solidly built and can cut the branches without difficulty. They are fairly small and light and easy to wield and my hands don’t hurt after a good session of rush trimming. My only complaint is that the rubber handle coverings tend to slide off with heavy use so I eventually just removed them.I find these cutters to be a good value and a handy tool. Based on my experience using them over the past several months I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

Decent Trimmer
They cut fine and do the job, but as others have said, the locking mechanism does not stay retracted while in use. In my case it got stuck in the spring mechanism and bent, so it is useless now, and the tool cannot be locked shut. It still cuts fine, but if this feature is important to you then stick with something else. I did not have a problem, as others did, with the handle covers falling off. At this price, I would buy them again.

Great tool at a great price
I've got at least 4 of these since I'm always losing my stuff. You can't beat them for 8 bucks!! They do sometimes pinch my fingers but oh well
