My 3 year old son has had a chronic cough, asthma, and susceptibility to viral infections for over two years. We have been through so many rounds of antibiotics, daily use of inhalers, nebulizers with steroids and bronchodilators. He coughed nightly with recurrent bouts of pneumonia and always walked around with a runny nose and bags under his eyes. I'm trained in both Eastern and Western medicine. Trust me, I have tried SO many standard and alternative remedies for my little guy...he just did not improve. His doctors finally referred us to a pulmonary specialist at Stanford. While we were waiting for the appointment (3+ months) we started using Host Defense liquid. It has been absolutely incredible! He has not been sick ONCE in six months (surrounded by sick kids at his daycare), his cough stopped immediately, no runny nose, and the bags under his eyes are gone. He is growing and thriving again and it is an absolute blessing! This is how we dose it for him: One dropperfull in a small cup. Add a very small amount of boiling water and let the alcohol evaporate for a minute. Pour in a little bit of honey and stir it until it melts. Add in some cooler water and drink! We do it nightly and he asks for his "honey drink" before bed. When we finally went to the pulmonary specialist, his symptoms had been gone for three months and he was not needing any medication. I almost cancelled the appointment because we didn't need it, but instead I brought in an empty bottle of the mushrooms and told the doctor to recommend it to her other sick kids. Needless to say, my entire family uses it now. The taste isn't that bad. If my 3 year old can drink it, I'm sure most people can find a way to get it into their system.

I have use this product for 10 years to build my immune system up. It is definitely a smart move to take.

Seems to work very well. Helped me overcome what I thought was going to be a very serious illness.

Last Jan 2020 I lost my sense of smell and taste, had a sore throat; developed body aches, a dry cough that was so intense and incessant and bad it caused me to throw up, and had kidney pain so bad I thought I was having kidney failure. Most illnesses get better as time progresses, but this one got worse over the course of 2 weeks. Mucinex and Robitussin made my cough worse and nothing I took made me feel better. I was so miserable with this bronchitis/pneumonia/bad cold/flu hybrid that I started digging through my medicine cabinet and found an almost empty bottle of Host Defense MyCommunity tincture from 2015. The tincture had expired and started to get a little thick and crusty, but I was so desperate for relief that I took the tincture in water and hoped for the best. I’m not exaggerating, but overnight my cough got better, my kidneys hurt less, I had energy to leave the house and take my baby to the park. OVERNIGHT. From old MyCommunity tincture that had expired years before. I kept taking the tincture daily and over the next week I went from 9/10 severity of illness to 1.5/10 severity of illness. I don’t know if I had Covid or not but I suspect I did catch an early version of it. And I truly believe I would’ve ended up in the ICU had I not rediscovered this tincture in the back of my medicine cabinet from 2015

This helped the lymph nodes in my neck go down after they were swollen for a year and a half, but I also think it elevated my heart rate where I started to wonder if I had high blood pressure. It was scary so I stopped it. Maybe I only need some of the mushrooms in here, not all 17. Even though I don't eat too bad and I was getting my water, I'm going to try it again in the future when I know my diet is top tier. I wouldn't recommend this because it scared me on and off for a month, but I'm not saying it's a bad product.

Another excellent product. Contains a significant diversity of mushrooms to expand the diet, practically the best thing you can do for your diet. Start small and work your way up in dosage, complex sugars cause bloating very easily till the body adapts. Only a supplement but still powerful. The cordyceps wasn’t overstimulating but it definitely is still stimulating to say the least, I’m sure some other mushrooms in there contribute to that, like the stropharia or agaricus I forget which is in it. I use primarily for the probiotics (complex sugars) which are extracted from hot water and I also use it for the prebiotics (yes, them’s some microbes) from the cold water extract in the solution. There are also benefits from the ethanol extract, terpenes etc. of course. I recently switched to Stamet’s 7 just to change the dosages a little. It seems to have more cordyceps which I actually like, but again there are other mushrooms which are contributing to the stimulating factor. I usually try to buy a bigger bottle to save a little and I’ll refrigerate it. I also take the “Liver” supplement from Host Defense for a nervous system disorder I have called Akathesia, who’s source is the vital organ the liver, although the symptoms are felt throughout the body and head and neck via the nervous system. Dopamine is weird. Anyways, this is good stuff and the mushrooms also contribute to my liver cleansing particularly the Reishi mushroom. Be careful to not drink too much in general and be cautious when drinking and consuming Reishi as it may potentially cause liver cirrhosis with binge drinking although I think we all know that could happen anyway if you’re binge drinking even without consuming Reishi.

Just as listed. Less expensive than in store.
