Nordacesmart backpack Siena, 19 litres, USB, Black (Black) - Siena

Bought this for my 17 yo daughter as a college back and she is very happy with itEarly days to suggest wear but it looks like it will wear well. Zips are substantial and handles are made from a good quality 'vegan' leather. We've bought this on the expectation that it will receive some very rough treatment (nothing to harm warranty Mr Supplier) and build quality is important for this reason. If we didn't think it would be up to the job, we'd have sent it back (well, my wife would - I'm rubbish at that bit)There is a USB port on the outside which can link to a charge bank/laptop inside and we are not sure how useful this is. You can plug in other items but, realisitically, you just wouldn't. Definitely worth buying for older people too. It looks a very smart and professional bag, as well as having a bit of a designer look.They are pricey bags but they compare well with others available at this price-point. i.e. K****en is terrible quality compared to these NordaceI flicked between 4 and 5 stars on this with my main gripes were price and the USB. However, it is just such a fine backpack that it deserves high praise for craftsmanship and manufacturing care. Settled on 5 stars.If I remember, I'll post again once we've tested it for a few months.

Swapped the khaki (beige) for the black because it was over £30 cheaper and while I was wondering if I had been fooled by an Amazonian affiliation I was chuffed to see it was a good bit of durable luggage that I have now used as cabin luggage and for work. I am very pleased with it. It’s stylish and great quality.

This backpack exceeded all expectations - size, comfort and the number of pockets! I’m yet to use it on a flight but with packing cubes I know that it will be perfect for a weekend away!

Very comfortable to wear even when packed full! The design is ergonomic and stylish.The “secret” pocket is handy for security items like a passport.Downsides: I realize “lots of pockets” is a major selling point but there are too many for my taste. I forget what’s in which pocket and there are so many that they catch on items when I put them inside. So I may cut some of them out.The charger cord is a great idea but you can’t tuck it completely away when not in use.The external zippers are exposed. They cheapen the overall look and hair/scarves catch easily in them.Finally the bottom of the pack is just fabric which isn’t ideal when you have to set the pack down. The bottom should really should be covered with reinforced, easy to clean material.

Listed as black, and I purchased it as I wanted a black and tan backpack. I have another Nordace backpack so know them to be comfy to wear, and because of this I was happy to pay the high price tag again.However, this is not black! it is a definite grey. Check out the black zips in the picture next to the grey bag.In this washed-out grey, it's not for me.I will be returning it to purchase a black and tan backpack, and may well save money on the next purchase.
