I have given this rope 3 stars. Why? Its not the rope's fault, but lpj fault. It clearly states this rope is adjustable, when really it isn't. You cant put the excess rope into the handles. You can cut the rope but then you can't get the rope into the handles. This problem is what keeps me from giving it 5 stars. The quality is very, very good.

Its a pretty decent jumping rope. Something nicked the top of it and it's beginning to rust and I'm a little concerned about the phone that's integrated with the wood on the handles whether that's going to dry out and deteriorate over time.

It's not very adjustable (requires you to take off two wood screws and then unclamp a crimped peice of metal around the leather rope) and the handles are kind of bulky. But, the rope swings with decent response and it's sturdy. Good enough; not exactly top notch.

I've been trying to step up my exercise routine a bit this year to add more cardio into my workout, so a jump rope seemed like a good choice. It's obviously a small enough piece of equipment that it's easy to store, doesn't cost as much as a treadmill or other exercise equipment and it's pretty simple to use, so anybody can use it. You also get the benefit of a workout you can tailor to your speed and intensity. I was super happy with the quality and design of the wooden handles. They are carved to curve into your hand in all the right places so you get a good grip while using the rope. The leather like strapping accents in the carved grooves of the handle also give an extra measure of grip security. The ball bearings inside the handle allow the rope to turn smoothly so you can get a consistent speed and swing of the rope with each turn. The rope itself is a very soft flexible leather, so when you do hit yourself (and you will at least once the longer you practice) it doesn't sting like a leather whip. A simple piece of equipment that will help you get a kick butt cardio workout in comfort. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I love to jump rope. But I only have kids jump ropes. Of course they are too small for me. They also have plastic handles and a rope that's not that well put together. I never knew they may jump ropes just for adults in till I sell these. When I got them in the mail I was excited to try it out. I was scared at first because the bag was ripped in a few places. I guess the only sad part was I cannot reuse the bag. However the jump rope was fine. The jump rope at wood handles very comfortable to hold and I love that they were made out of wood and not plastic. The rope was made out of leather very nice and black. I love how the rope to me and my husband. It was very easy to swing and jump with. I couldn't do much with it because I am pregnant but I know as soon as I have this baby I will be jumping with that often to get the baby weight off. My children also love to play with it by Tying it onto items. I love how strong it is and how well it is put together. I hope and that will last me a very long time. This athletic jump rope is a high quality product. The rope is made of leather and the two handles are made of wood and fit somfortabky in your hands. I received this rope at a discount price in exchange of a unbiased and honest review.. I got this for a sports enthusiast in my family. He is seventeen and participates in a lot of high school sports. Jumping with this rope will increase his athleticism and agility. He uses the jump rope to stay in shape no matter what sport he is participating in at the time. Great investment and a fun workout.

I use a jump rope LPJ sport for training athletes who have a lot of praise.Wooden handle fits nicely in the hand. Then rubber bands prevents slipping. The cable length is adjustable, and the handle is the possibility of increasing load. When jumping beautifully rotates.
