A Novel Journal: Anne of Green Gables Diary – November 24, 2015

The book is a soft cover. It is a thick softcover that reminds me of a moleskin in its pliability. It feels good in the hand and also lays down well to write. The exterior color is a shimmering mint green with a brushed pattern. The front cover is the very start of the book. The back cover is the very end.The pages are tinted ever so slightly pink. The edge of the pages are neon pink. The paper is a thick, heavy paper that takes ink quite well. The interior cover flap is green with a floral pattern in several colors.I believe the chapters or parts start and they are colored in pink. The rest of the text is green. It is easy to read but very, very small. It does not feel like you are writing on text. That is how small it is.It is a quality piece of work and absolutely beautiful.

This is simply a journal for people to write in -- and a very attractive, unusual journal at that. The unique thing about it is that the lines of each page are actually formed out of lines of type from the book Anne of Green Gables. (There are a few other journals in this collection, using type from other classic books.) My daughter had this journal on her wish list, and it looked intriguing so I purchased it for her. She LOVED it. This would make a unique and special gift for anyone who's a fan of these particular books.

I love the Premise of these journals - writing within a classic novel. The lines are small but still legible and I loved how some quotes are highlighted. The pages are sturdy stock and The covers are soft, textured moleskin and each book has beautifully coolored covers with contrasting colored edging. They come in both bound and spiral bound, it appears that the designers thought of everything and with the variety of choices to pick from these would make excellent, personalized gifts to others as well as yourself.

This journal was a gift for my LM Montgomery loving daughter. The lines of the journal are words from Anne of Green Gables. The colors are as shown in the picture.

When I ordered this, I didn't realize the lines on the pages were actually the text of the book. What a fun surprise! I promptly ordered the Pride and Prejudice version for my Janeite friend.

I am obsessed with these journals. I am such a fan of Anne with an E. When I saw this, I knew I needed it immediately. Very well made and simply a beautiful journal.

This is a wonderful, unique gift for Anne fans, and book lovers. It really does include the entire novel in very tiny print that makes up the journal lines. My daughter LOVES it!

I love this notebook so much that I need a special reason to write in it. If ever there is a spiral bound one, I may never buy another brand of notebook again
