We actually bought this more for the sun-blocking and shade side of things than for rain, and my wife ended up loving it for that purpose. The biggest thing we noticed immediately is that it genuinely helps with direct sun and heat compared to a normal umbrella. Standing under it during bright sunny days feels noticeably cooler, especially during long outdoor events, walking, fairs, or sitting outside for extended periods. The UPF protection was the main selling point for us, and it definitely feels more like portable shade than just a standard rain umbrella pretending to be “UV resistant.” One thing my wife especially liked is that it doesn’t look overly bulky or weird to carry around despite having good coverage. The auto open and close feature also makes it much more convenient than fighting with old-school umbrellas while trying to carry other things. Lightweight , the automatic open and close feature is AWESOME 😎 It's well made and satisfying . I'd definitely buy this item again .

I use this umbrella on the daily basis as I work at a school site and tend to be outside with students. Visually I do enjoy having the cloud background in the inside and the kids think it’s fun. Weight: it is on the heavier side, so I wouldnt recommend if it will be used for hours at a time. Length: wouldn’t hurt to be 1/2 a foot longer Durability: I’ve had it close to a month. So far so good. UV resistance: excellent. I’m pretty sensitive to the sun and can literally feel the difference when I’m on a blacktop with 105+ degree weather. Wind resistance: it has flipped over multiple times, however, it doesn’t seem to cause any damage Cons: it’s a bit annoying that to close it I have to retract the the stock of the umbrella Pros: the uv resistance is amazing!

this thing sucks. i finally used it ( bought in march 26)and a burst of wind caught and pulled it inside out. I tried to redirect the umbrella to protect it but the thing snagged the wind and ripped back and popped it.nice job there g 4free. reopenin procedure didnt work , the whole thing is useless. dont buy this thing. its great for heat but the veins are flimsy. bad product.and oh you cant call up the company, the number doesnt work. what the hell.stuck and it is only three months old. warranty at least right? no. BEWARE.

I love the sun but the sun doesn't love me. I get very hot quickly if I stay in direct sun, then nauseous. This umbrella is EVERYTHING to/for me as it seriously blocks a lot of it, plus the inside cloud scene is absolutely gorgeous. I'm going to purchase another one before they are unavailable.

Took this to Turkey and Greece. Worked great when touring the ruins of Ephesus and the Acropolis.

This parasol/umbrella is my essential travel companion as I go about my life in Spain. I have Cutaneous Lupus which means I have photosensitivity and I can now shade my head, face and neck safely (aswell as wearing sunblock) without having to wear hats which make my head too hot! The reflective outer prevents the sun's rays from coming through which gives me more confidence to go out and about. Really pleased with this purchase!

This is the best umbrella I have ever had. It does its job very well and provides excellent protection from the Dubai sun. It is also windproof, and nothing happens to it even when it's windy. So far, I haven't experienced any problems with it. However, I still use it very gently because I'm concerned that something might happen, as it is an automatic folding umbrella.
