Review: Simple, but its what I was looking for - Lots of reviews says this book is poorly written with typos and grammatical errors and what's taught in the book are already lessons people know. Well, that is what I was looking for. I wanted a book that broke it down, made things simple and easy to understand, and was a "crash course" in agile/scrum. Yeah, there's typos and grammatical errors throughout the book but I didnt care. I just wanted to know more about the premise of agile/scrum before actually taking and paying for classes or getting a certificate/license. Its a great book for reference when you need a refresher in agile.

Read in a few hours - passed PSM1 test later same day !
To be fair, I've been a technical project manager for many years, but never did Agile projects. I literally started reading this this morning, went through the other resources the author said to go to, reread again this afternoon, took some notes (the test is open-book), paid my fee, took the exam a few hours ago and voila - success It's laid out really well, it's concise and gets to the point without any additional fluff. Perfect for it's intent.

Short, Sweet, Hits the Key Points
I bought this book as a supplement to the reading for PM courses I teach at the Community College. I wanted something not too heavy or detailed yet had enough information to convey the key concepts of Agile/Scrum to an audience predominantly non-PMs. This hit the mark - it explains the Basics, the Events, the Teams, and the Artifacts, with examples. Its an easy read, its a cheap price (especially for college students) and its been effective - just enough.

A Book for Everyone Who Are Preparing PSM Exam, and All Levels of Project Managers
First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and want to give a big applause to Mr. Umer Waqar, PMP, for releasing such a great book that could compile all of the necessary information about Agile and Scrum. I have known Mr. Umer Waqar since I took his Udemy PMP Class, and I could pass my exam thanks to his well-organized, systematic, and informative class materials, as well as, his teaching ability. When I heard that he has just published his book named "Agile Scrum Crash Course: A Guide To Agile Project Management and Scrum Master Certification PSM 1", I had no hesitation that his book would never disappoint me. After reading his book, it exceeded my expectation and was so proud of him, as well as cannot find the words to express how I am satisfied to get profound knowledge of Agile and Scrum thanks to him. The book consists of the main 4 sections, and the first one "The Basics of Agile and Scrum" gives you a general understanding of what is Agile and Scrum, and its related concepts. The last 3 sections such as "Scrum Events", "Scrum Team, and "Scrum Artifacts" can give you a detailed explanation of every single concept mentioned in the first section. For me, I had a chance to know lots of new concepts about IT project management such as Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, DOD, Story Points, Velocity, etc, which I was not aware of before reading the book. I would like to suggest readers be ready to take notes while reading the book since the book explains a lot of Scrum and Agile related terminologies and gave a detailed explanation to the new words. Almost every single sentences written on the books are impossible to be skipped and should be read and remembered carefully. Thanks to Mr. Umer Waqar's simple and easy-to-understand teaching ability, I believe you will have no difficulty to understand those methods. In one word, it was a real professional page-turner. Furthermore, this book could give noticeable and necessary advice for those who are taking a PSM Exam, and all of the examples given related to each topic were all well-thought. I am confident that this book can give readers a chance to apply those real-life-based examples to their work, businesses, and projects. For example, I knew and heard about Sprint Meetings a lot before, but I learned that each Sprint should create a piece that is Done, Usable, and Ready to release from this book, which was so worth of knowledge that I am going to use in the future. Finally, thank you very much, Mr. Umer Waqar, for teaching me how to manage projects very effectively in a modern and unpredictable era, as well as helping me to have a proper level of knowledge about Scrum and Agile through your wonderful book. These days, the importance of Agile and Scrum is getting increased day by day, and it was perfect timing to have a chance to read and review such a great book. I hope everybody can find this book so useful, informative, and full of knowledge. Please, enjoy the book, and I would like to wish luck to those who are taking a PSM exam, and I hope all of you can pass the exam because you have this book.
