Pioneer Valley Boysenberry Fancy Syrup

I ordered for a Pancake and Pajamas Christmas party. Everyone had to bring toppings- THIS was the only topping that was GONE by the end of the evening. It is SO good. Buy it… but save some for me!!!

Hands down the best boysenberry syrup I’ve ordered online. Great flavor just the right amount of sweetness. Double packed with care and bubble wrap since the bottle is glass. Oh I love caramels and didn’t know you made them as well. Well done. I look forward to being your favorite customer😍

As a child boysenberry syrup from Smucker’s was my favorite pancake topping. Unfortunately it looks like the market for boysenberry syrup dried up completely for some reason. I stumbled upon this syrup and decided to order it for nostalgia’s sake to see if it would be similar to my beloved discontinued syrup. I would say it’s nice, but the flavor is pretty mild and not as deep or tart as I remember. It is also very thin and runny. I’ll finish the bottle, but I don’t think I will order it again.

Boysenberry always delicious, but unable to find in stores.

Well, it's not like Smuckers Boysenberry Syrup by a long shot, which is disappointing since that's what I was searching for a replacement for since they discontinued it. The Pioneer Valley syrup lacks high fructose corn syrup; maybe that's what made Smuckers so good. This version tastes more watered down and less sweet. My husband used the words "more natural" to describe the difference. I didn't hate it but it's not what I hoped for since Smuckers set my expectations years ago. I most likely won't reorder.

I'm so happy i could order this boysenberry syrup because I couldn't find it in any store. It is so good, and has just 3 ingredients, no chemicals or artificial additives. I will definitely buy it again. If i find that they also have blueberry syrup i will buy that also since that is another item i could not find in stores. The syrup is not too thick, but it is not runny. The price is higher than I was hoping, but since i don't use much and only once a week on pancakes, it will last a while for me. Packaging was extraordinarily done, making it almost impossible to break during shipping. Also, the bottle top was sealed to prevent the cap from loosening.
