My elder mom had inflamed gums with recurring infections and now that she uses this three times a day, her gums are great with no longer having infections. This has a very light mint taste and it's very gentle.

Recommended by my dentist, I'm a little surprised this stuff isn't found on store shelves considering that it's great stuff and doesn't have the kind of overpowering flavor I'd become used to from major brands over the years.

I have found that if you use it before running it will keep your mouth moist for the duration of reasonably long run (10 km). This is especially helpful when running in cold and very dry weather such as Japanese winter weather. It also very effectively eliminates bad breath.
