The same uncle who has been so kind and supportive through his struggles with brain cancer. I highly value his considerable warmth and devotion to his nephew and me. My husband has been blessed with the most amazing family, to say the least. Well, when Gene visited he explained that his cousin was staying with him and his wife who are both in their eighties. The cousin happens to be an exceptional cook and goes above and beyond in the cuisine of Mexican food. I told Gene I’d love to have her fix us a Mexican meal sometime. Gene is no one to procrastinate, so he said he’d call her right away. As he spoke with his cousin, he asked us if we could come over that very night. Well, we could and we did. His cousin wasn’t at all upset by the short notice it seemed. As we visited, I did the typical mountain ‘thing’ and went to the kitchen to help prepare the meal. She was making tacos and Mexican street corn. Gene’s wife was preparing the hamburger meat for tacos and my first question, as I watched her chop up the meat was, “what is that?”. She was chopping up the meat with a utensil I’d never seen or heard of. She said it was her cousin’s idea to use this utensil and I asked her cousin what it was called. “I guess you call it a hamburger chopper”, she told lme. Well, that thing – whatever it was called, worked amazingly well at fixing the hamburger meat for tacos. I was definitely impressed. When I went home later that evening, I looked up hamburger chopper on Amazon and found the utensil. It came in packs of two and I ordered a set in red. I’ve only used one of them one time so far, but I am so impressed with this utensil. It’s perfect for chopping up hamburger in the pan. It’s made of a silicone like material so can be used in nonstick pans as well as any other. I love it and want to encourage any cook to get yourself one. Or two, like I did. And, oh yes. That was the best Mexican meal I could possibly have eaten. I got the recipe for the Mexican street corn and am currently preparing the ingredients to make it. Thanks to Gene, his wife and his cousin, I now have a easier way of chopping burger for whatever meal I might need it chopped up for. I picked this up after my previous meat chopper snapped during a normal cook, so durability was my main concern. This one immediately feels more solid. The 5 curved blades break up ground beef faster and more evenly without having to constantly reposition or press hard. It handles heat well and doesn’t flex or feel like it’s going to fail when working through thicker portions. Cleanup is straightforward, and it gets into corners of the pan better than my last one. Overall, it’s a noticeable upgrade—more efficient, sturdier, and just easier to use. Exactly what I was hoping for after the last one broke.

Helps cooking any ground meat easier, better than using a wooden spoon or spatula. Good quality and value for the money.

This meat chopper works really well and makes breaking up ground beef quick and easy. The curved blades do a good job of evenly crumbling the meat while it cooks. It feels sturdy and holds up well to heat, which is a big plus. It’s also easy to clean and comfortable to use. Overall, a simple but very useful kitchen tool that I’m glad I bought.

Durable one piece constructed. Dishwasher safe, works well on chopping ground beef and ground turkey. Excellent for the money. Feels like quality when being used!

No issues after first use! Didn’t melt after prolonged contact with the bottom of the pan and very easy to clean.

This is a great ground meat chopper, I’ve also used it when frying up veggies to flatten or chop them up abit. I wish there was a stainless steel option as this one got a little rough after awhile on the side that touches the pan all the time, so I got rid of it!
